An amazing building which managed to survive Henry 8th. I recommend the monthly open days as the volunteers run tours and are very knowledgeable. They also had home made cakes.

The open days provide interesting information on the buildings history (and that of Ilford itself). Whilst there has been a massive rebuilding of the property, there is still much to take in.

Visited for a coffee morning in aid of McMillan Nurses, Cakes and savoury items provided and a raffle. Pleasant people and surroundings.
