Our son had his wedding and reception in this lovely historic house. We were a little dubious as Ilford isn't the most salubrious place. But Valentines Mansion is absolutely lovely. It was built in the 16th century for the widow of the Archbishop of Canterbury...More

Thanks for the fantastic review – we’re so pleased you enjoyed your day at Valentines Mansion & Gardens. Shame about the Teddy Bears Picnic, however we wouldn’t want Harry to miss out on his prize (his cake design was fantastic!), so we’d be happy to...More

Refreshing, pleasant attraction in historical park. The mansion could do with a few more artifacts, it is rather sparse. Overlooking the gardens, great if you have a few hours to kill on a Sunday afternoon, admission is free. Would recommend.
