Pretty much this country park is what it is. Loads of woodland trails for every ability or distance.
Lakes for fishing (with a license only) and some lovely picnic areas.
Will be sorely missed when replaced with motorway in a few years :(
What a lovely place to come for a stroll. There are several different trails you can take, we took the red route through the woods. Marley loved it and gives it a 5 paw rating.
Lots of area for family’s to have picnics etc
Lovely park but really lwt down by poor service in the expensive cafe. Incredibly slow and then got a straightforward order wrong. I wasn't alone...another customer came in as I was trying to sort out my incorrect order and his was wrong too! We'll bring...More
A beautiful park, easy to reach by car. There are lots of trails of different lenght and difficulty and you can enjoy relaxing walks in nature. The Visitor Centre offers a good choice of food, also for kids. Cheap parking.
We are so lucky to have a really wonderful facility at this country park that is right on our doorstep. The only issue is that it is so good that there is often a queue for food/drinks, especially after ParkRun on Saturday morning.
