Shortage of signs means you may easily get lost
May 2021
This country park is extremely large and so one can get lost in it. Sadly there are not enough signs e.g. to the exits, and so it can get very frustrating when you want to find your way around or to leave.

Historic Monuments in Huge Country Park!
Nov 2020
Trent Country Park contains 413 acres of woods, meadows, lakes and historical sites on the edge of London. You could spend days here! On a bright autumnal Sunday morning, it was dog walkers central along the paved Limes Avenue. At either end, there are monuments: near the car park, an obelisk/pyramid commemorates Henry Grey, Duke of Kent who died on 5th June 1740 ; at the other end is a column dedicated "To the memory of Jemima Crewe Dutchess [sic] of Kent".

There is so much space that you could walk through the woods and hardly see anyone else. Definitely a place for walkers of all abilities.

Unpleasant
Nov 2020 • Friends
Trent Park, Cockfosters. Maybe it's the lockdown, the park is good, the cafe, awful, dirty and tables and benches left unattended following use. And the coffee, bad, tastes like milk and hot water

Go to the little cafe at the animal sanctuary - much nicer than the bigger one!
Oct 2020
We walk our dog regularly at Trent Park. It’s a lovely space. We don’t like the main cafe at all and would never buy anything from there - overpriced poor quality coffee and food, not very clean and moody staff. The toilets, which were closed during the lockdown are open again, but standards seem to have slipped and they are always very dirty.

What I really like is the little cafe attached to the animal rescue sanctuary. It offers just a few basics like tea, coffee, a few cakes etc. but it’s well priced and service is always pleasant. The proceeds go to the sanctuary and you can sit in the shade of their little garden. It seems to be getting much, much busier of late, which is lovely to see. Don’t bother with the other cafe, go to this one instead!

Animal rescue centre deserves support toilets disgusting
Sep 2020
The animal rescue centre is a 15-20 minute walk from park cafe and has a smaller cafe. Interesting to see the ducks, geese, foxes, sheep, geese etc. Toilet at centre closed and one at park cafe said cleaned 3 times a day but it was filthy, loo seats missing, paper, dirt and almost unusable. Disgusting at any time, never mind during virus.

Lovely park, disgusting toilets
Sep 2020 • Family
Park itself is lovely for a walk, lots of picnic tables and plenty of space.

The toilets however are revolting - no paper in any cubicle, human waste all over the toilets themselves and the surrounding floors and general disgusting conditions.

Reassuring to see that they cleaned the toilets at 3.45pm today though...as I write this review at 2pm...

An unexpected treasure
Sep 2020
visiting this area of London for the first time, we were surprised by the the extent of this park, and its variety of landscapes and terrain. the history is well documented on information boards, and is centuries old. The house is under renovation as part of a housing development which is an imaginative but intrusive project

Disgusting toilets
Sep 2020 • Family
Toilets are filthy. Floors always flooded, sanitary bins overflowing. Serious health risk! No paper.
