Opened in 2008, we present a high quality programme of live performance, participatory activities, exhibitions and outreach work that meet the needs and enhance the experiences of our local community, and beyond. Cornerstone comprises a 220 seat auditorium, café bar, gallery and four studios, perfect for dance and arts activities, as well as meetings. Come inside and try our new cafe, Nourish. Beautifully, locally roasted coffee. Loose leaf, speciality, transitional and super healthy teas. The best grilled cheese sandwich in town. The most delicious and unique locally produced cakes and a healthy, clean eating twist wherever we can squeeze it in. Did we mention the wine and beer are local too? Free Wi-Fi throughout Nourish, so whether you are catching up on emails or streaming your favourite program, we have got the connection covered for you. Make sure to grab a large cup of our signature coffee. Passing by and in a rush? No worries, have it to take away.

A lovely arts venue with a range of performances, exhibitions, displays and a lovely cafe. A great addition to Didcot.

First time here for a concert. Building looks modern, bright & clean and so are the toilets (always a good sign). Seating is quite steeply tiered which gives everyone a good view over the head of the person in front, small and intimate and there’s enough knee room. Friendly staff too. Bar was busy at the interval but there’s free water so if you’re thirsty you don’t have to queue. Good experience!

Cornerstone is a lively, friendly venue which has a variety of shows and acts throughout the year for most tastes and ages. I have seen Sean Lock , Jack Dee and Ed Byrne here as well as a fantastic Bee Gees tribute band, a Drama Festival involving local amateur drama groups and some great folk singers. The auditorium is fairly small with tiered seating so you are able to have a good view of the performance area wherever you sit. The staff and team of volunteers are always welcoming and very happy to offer any assistance. The only downfall is the cafe/bar as it's very expensive and on busy nights the staff really struggle to serve a lot of people in a limited time. But apart from that it's a great venue and brings quality acts to Didcot at reasonable prices.

We went to see Shazia Mirza ‘comedian’ last night. The theatre was absolutely freezing! Even the act mentioned it 5 times whilst the small number of us that were there shivered in our coats.
Didn’t help that Mirza really struggled, didn’t seem like she’d rehearsed and so many awkward moments where she lost the flow. Very unfunny, and just kept ‘on and on and on’ about white men and their faults, very boring!

Its a great arts centre and the cafe is clean, friendly and does nice coffee and snacks. Nice ambience and comfy chairs. Seating outside if the weather is good enough. Nice place to have a drink in the evenings too. And often interesting art exhibitions as well as shows and various activities for adults and children. I would say its Didcot's little gem and something to be proud of.

Went to watch a cookery demonstration with a differene. Fabulous show, staff so welcoming and the theatre is bright and airy. All seats give good viewing and the bar is great. The cafe serves delicious salads in the day, there are free exhibitions and the theatre put on such a range of shows - something for everyone. Easy parking at The Orchard Centre too.
