We came here very last minute with 4 girls ages 5, 8, 9 and 12. All of them had a blast.
We decided to stay over as we live just over an hour away and it was worth it.
There is enough within the area to fill 2 days easily. However be prepared to spend a lot. We went to the trampoline park which due to covid had a few bits out of action however from what I could tell the prices were the same which was a bit disappointing, however I can also understand why this would be. There were very mixed ages within the park from babies to teens so my kids fitted in and so did we perfectly. The premises was clean and being frequently sanitised in all high traffic areas.
We played the indoor golf yesterday as well. I didn't find the price too bad for us all. The staff were friendly and explained everything well. The gold course was fun and the kids loved it. Dinosaurs that came alive and exciting music and lights made it different to your standard crazy golf in cleethorpes. The only issue was our group size of 6 ment to was slow and others coming in soon caught up. We ditched the scoring and practically ran through it.
Today we ended on the cinema.
Absolutly cracking. Again friendly staff, open spaces, clean and the actually cinema makes our local one look like child's play. Big comfy seats, good choice of food and easy to strict to the restrictions. Loved it.

Xscape seems to have improved a lot over recent years. There’s plenty of eateries to take advantage off, some shops and lots of family friendly activities to take part in. I would recommend taking a lot of money with you if you are going with children as a lot of the activities do work out quite expensive but that’s the same for most places these days to be honest.
It’s definitely a great place on a rainy day!

The best hen party I could have asked for!
We started at Bella Italian which we had pre booked as there were 13 of us. Meal was ok, nothing mega to shout home about.
Then we had zero plans.
We saw on the website that they had kareoke booths so we headed that way. Got a drink and the lovely Luke spotted us and came over.
Free drinks and free booth for us! Amazing. We were so happy.
The bar service was perfect - we would order drinks and they happily brought them over to us.
Then to top it off we met Will who sorted us out with go karting!
Honestly it was the best day and thank you so much to will and Luke (and the lady that sorted kareoke but I’ve forgot your name sorry) but you all made our day.

Attended to try out the new E-Karting track. There were 4 of us.
I had booked online and pre filled out all the safety questions. As advised on the email we arrived 30 minutes early. The whole of this 30 mins was spent waiting and re completing the online safety questions as these had not gone through. After doing these at the till I had to keep going to the back of the line again and wait to speak to staff again.
For a second time the safety questions had not gone through. By this time there was only minutes before our race was due to start. We also needed to purchase mandatory balaclavas at £3 each and this was not made clear during the booking, otherwise I would of got these in advance. Adding £12 to the already paid price.
The whole process felt extremely rushed and poorly organised. We were being called to get into our karts before we even had helmets to wear (they seemed to be short on these).
During the race (just 8 minutes) we had to stop for about 2 minutes to let a child out that did not want to continue. Whilst this was unavoidable there was no offer for extra time and we were quickly shooed off the track.
Overall a poor experience for an activity that cost over £50. Much more work needed on streamlining the transfer of passengers. Just felt like we were being crammed through as fast as possible and not getting time to enjoy the experience.

Been visiting this place for over the last 10 years.
We have always enjoyed visiting very frequently enjoying a family meal and using the facilities.
Today we were really disappointed to find the snow zone spectator and restaurant was only accessible with a £4 per person fee. (Previously free)
We turned around as did the other people stood behind us in the queue.
Don't think we will be back visiting for a while. Many of the shops were closed and old shops not replaced by new ones. :(

I am in Xscape currently. This is not a covid safe environment with roughly 2 in 3 not wearing masks and virtually no one using hand sanitisers. Security here have advised that they cannot enforce mask wearing. The place is busy so the risk here feels very high. We come regularly but will not be coming again. This is by far the worst experience of workplace and customer safety I have had since the pandemic started.

Some security staff are diabolical.....how can they think that its acceptable to use foul language between themselves in a conversation overheard by the general public.
Not only that but I've seen better presented people in the gym queue....get it together xscape they are the face of the company.
Guest relations...I have emailed a complaint direct let's hope you have the decency to action and respond to this.

We went for the cinema and bowling!!
The cinema room was extremely small and the seats was sticky and uncomfortable.
The main reason for this review is to explain the shocking bowling experience we had.
Before our games started went to the bar for drinks to be told the stock order hadn’t been put in meaning nothing on draft and the only alcohol in the fridge was a few bottles or cider and becks beer.
When we went to our lane to play the game there was food left over food on the tables and flies so I am not sure how long the food was there. We asked someone to come and clear and 30 minutes went by and it was still there.
We didn’t have had balls so we asked someone and we was told to go look on other players lanes which I refused to do.
During the first game it kept crashing and the scores was going on to one players results. At this point I went to let a member of staff know about the error on the game. Which I then informed them of how unhappy I am with the service and how the food I have asked to be removed is still there. And informed them of the error and the reply about going to get a ball to fit. The reply i received was, all you had to was ask!!!!!!! They then sorted it.
The same error happened on the 2nd game and the balls was all stuck down the lanes. At this point I asked to see a manager as I wanted a refund and I’d had enough of the service and errors on the game!
I was advised by the manager that these things happen and he apologised for the staff been rude.

Booked E karting for my family of 5. Unfortunately when we arrived to check in we was told that we had only booked 4 riders, this was true but we booked 4 karts but one was a dual kart so my 6 year old could ride with me the lady on the desk stated that only 4 could ride, we didn't argue this at the time resulting in my oldest daughter having to miss the experience. Having relooked on our booking we did actually book correctly having written two emails to E karting none of which have been replied too other than the automatic email to acknowledge receipt of my email. Left little choice but to rate 1 star, it's a shame because we did enjoy the actual experience :(

Just completed a full day beginner snowboard course with Wayne.. I honestly cant recommend him enough as an instructor.. he really took his time and broke everything down into simple easy to follow and understand instructions. We learned so much in one day and thats all down to him as an instructor.. The equipment and facilities was also brilliant.. Had such a good day thank you..🏂🙌

Jone there are lots of you look on here under Castleford and there is a premier inn or travel lodge on the site as well
Do we need to book activities in advance or can we just turn up on the day?

You can book all activities on the day if you wish, even the escape rooms and Snozone, as long as there is availability. Some activities are also available to book online in advance.
Do you have to book a time slot to go snowboarding or can you just turn up and pay on the day?

skiing area and various shops as part of the offer. Restaurants and bars on the front attract late teens and twenties onwards. Quite a lively scene generally.

Are we able to access the smaller slopes even though we do not have a lesson? We would find it much more comfortable and beneficial if we we’re able to use the smaller slope before hand as we are not confident skiers. Anybody who can help us would be a great help!!

No you can’t you can only use the beginner slope as part of a lesson.
If you can ski already and use the lift you can get of half way.
