- Jack777Lincoln, United Kingdom2 contributionsGreat crack - great customer service. We had a great time as a couple. Just wanted to say a special thanks to Will from Gravity. I booked my climbing on the wrong day, like a lemon. He put our minds at ease, and kindly moved my booking for me to make sure that we could enjoy our activities that we had paid for, on the day we visited. He also adjusted the timings slightly so that we could do all of our activities at a time that suited us best. He was also really reassuring with the free fall jump activity which was so much fun - thanks mate.Visited November 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten November 23, 2023
- Giztheo88 contributionsgreat partyParty for 14 teenage girls at the karting track. Really well looked after by the whole team. The track supervisors were very patient and explained everything. Always smiling and having a laugh. We were designated party hosts in a special area which was really nicely decorated, food was really good and unlimited squash was great. It was really well organised from start to finish and well worth the money. Just the friendliest team. My only gripe would be the booking system. You can’t book in person only over the phone, you can’t pay up front . Could be easier either by booking at the karting track or on line but that is my only gripe.Visited December 2023Traveled with friendsWritten December 9, 2023
- LouB897 contributionsInstructor (Wayne) was fantasticWe attended this morning for Level 1&2 snowboarding lessons with Wayne. Wayne was friendly, supportive and knowledgeable throughout the full experience. For someone who has never done any snow sport he made it simple enough for me to understand! We both had a fantastic time and will be returning. Only very small grumble i’d have is that the beginner slope was very busy so you had to be mindful of where you were going and often had to wait for space to have a go, which is tricky when you are a complete newbie.Visited January 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten January 10, 2024
- Sarah W2 contributionsBack to skiing with a disabilityI hadn't skied for over 12 years due to severe mobility issues. So I came to escape for disability adapted lessons. Ed my coach got me back on the slope and renewed my confidence. My first lesson was in January and by March, I was on holiday in Chamonix. Thanks soooo much, I feel free again.Visited January 2024Traveled soloWritten April 23, 2024

We booked both the crazy golf and tenpin on line, leaving plenty of time between the 18 holes and bowling for lunch. As it happened, much too much time so we were very grateful for the receptionist at tenpin moving our booking forward 90 minutes. The crazy golf was great fun and deceptively difficult. - Iankellie16 contributionsGreat 2 daysReally good 2 days experience at xscape. 8 year old son loved it. Plenty to do activities for him. Plenty of options to eat. Negative about it was the e-karting! Booked dual kart family session 8min £24. We did 2 laps at normal speed (30 second laps) the rest of the 8 minutes was restricted speed (barely moving) because someone on track was slow or struggling. I understand young kids might struggle with karts, but if they will why isn't adult with them? Spoiled it for my son. 2 30 second laps at £24 is expensive! That's the only negative & won't be doing again as we will go back to xscape as everything else was great.Visited May 2024Traveled with familyWritten June 2, 2024
- FreddyBirmingham, United Kingdom3 contributionsDay out with kidsI recently visited Xscape and had a fantastic time. It's a great destination for kids, with plenty of activities to keep them entertained for hours. There are loads of food options available, catering to all tastes. Additionally, the nearby shopping opportunities make it a perfect spot for a full day out. Highly recommended for families looking for a fun and convenient outing!Visited July 2024Traveled with familyWritten July 5, 2024
- thara rEpsom, United Kingdom404 contributionsHeyaHeya. This is my first time ever here. I came here on Thursday. Recommended as a little pit stop. There is so much to do and see here. After doing a themed escape room maybe visit the bar and order a dessert. Other activities include people watching and talking too. Best wishes. I happily give it five out of five stars overall. Also fit in a timed trip to the shops and Burger King as well. I will return in the future. Spend a entire afternoon here. Thank you so much. What a lovely place. Stroll around to literally see all of it.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten August 24, 2024

Been visiting this place for over the last 10 years.
We have always enjoyed visiting very frequently enjoying a family meal and using the facilities.
Today we were really disappointed to find the snow zone spectator and restaurant was only accessible with a £4 per person fee. (Previously free)
We turned around as did the other people stood behind us in the queue.
Don't think we will be back visiting for a while. Many of the shops were closed and old shops not replaced by new ones. :(

Attended to try out the new E-Karting track. There were 4 of us.
I had booked online and pre filled out all the safety questions. As advised on the email we arrived 30 minutes early. The whole of this 30 mins was spent waiting and re completing the online safety questions as these had not gone through. After doing these at the till I had to keep going to the back of the line again and wait to speak to staff again.
For a second time the safety questions had not gone through. By this time there was only minutes before our race was due to start. We also needed to purchase mandatory balaclavas at £3 each and this was not made clear during the booking, otherwise I would of got these in advance. Adding £12 to the already paid price.
The whole process felt extremely rushed and poorly organised. We were being called to get into our karts before we even had helmets to wear (they seemed to be short on these).
During the race (just 8 minutes) we had to stop for about 2 minutes to let a child out that did not want to continue. Whilst this was unavoidable there was no offer for extra time and we were quickly shooed off the track.
Overall a poor experience for an activity that cost over £50. Much more work needed on streamlining the transfer of passengers. Just felt like we were being crammed through as fast as possible and not getting time to enjoy the experience.

I am in Xscape currently. This is not a covid safe environment with roughly 2 in 3 not wearing masks and virtually no one using hand sanitisers. Security here have advised that they cannot enforce mask wearing. The place is busy so the risk here feels very high. We come regularly but will not be coming again. This is by far the worst experience of workplace and customer safety I have had since the pandemic started.

We went for the cinema and bowling!!
The cinema room was extremely small and the seats was sticky and uncomfortable.
The main reason for this review is to explain the shocking bowling experience we had.
Before our games started went to the bar for drinks to be told the stock order hadn’t been put in meaning nothing on draft and the only alcohol in the fridge was a few bottles or cider and becks beer.
When we went to our lane to play the game there was food left over food on the tables and flies so I am not sure how long the food was there. We asked someone to come and clear and 30 minutes went by and it was still there.
We didn’t have had balls so we asked someone and we was told to go look on other players lanes which I refused to do.
During the first game it kept crashing and the scores was going on to one players results. At this point I went to let a member of staff know about the error on the game. Which I then informed them of how unhappy I am with the service and how the food I have asked to be removed is still there. And informed them of the error and the reply about going to get a ball to fit. The reply i received was, all you had to was ask!!!!!!! They then sorted it.
The same error happened on the 2nd game and the balls was all stuck down the lanes. At this point I asked to see a manager as I wanted a refund and I’d had enough of the service and errors on the game!
I was advised by the manager that these things happen and he apologised for the staff been rude.

Rock climbing - half term
Que was horrendous they should have two people on the till.
This was our first time rock climbing as a family.
Greeted by a unfriendly girl/lady fill in the questions on the screen and that was it and then took the payment.
We couldn’t get booked on until later that afternoon (our fault as we should of booked online). Came back at our time I ask the lady where do we go she said over there, I noticed everyone had bands on so went back to the desk and said do we need bands on??
The girl said “haven’t you already got them” my reply no that’s why I’m asking. She then with no customer service handed me 3 bands.
The man who was doing the harness and chat was very good.
What I found most annoying was that the staff where not that keen on helping clipping on and off the harness.
The girls who work there walk around like they are looking for a date rather than helping you.

Don't bother with Ekarting £75 for family of 4 for 8mins!! Staff didn't really seem to know what they were doing, and systems went down. You want good value karting go to TeamSport much better value and much better (and faster) karting experience.

Some security staff are diabolical.....how can they think that its acceptable to use foul language between themselves in a conversation overheard by the general public.
Not only that but I've seen better presented people in the gym queue....get it together xscape they are the face of the company.
Guest relations...I have emailed a complaint direct let's hope you have the decency to action and respond to this.

My husband and I and our 2 boys aged 9 and 5 decided to learn a new activity together and we choose skiing. We’re keen to go on a skiing holiday but wanted to get a feel for the sport first so thought a family ski lesson would be a good start and we loved it. Richard was our instructor and he was very patient with us all, we had never even taken the boys ice skating but we all loved it and have even booked in for our next lesson.
They advise you to arrive 45 minutes before your lesson so that you can get your boots, Ski’s and any kit you’ve hired on, we did but we were pushing it, would definitely give ourselves a good hour next time, especially as the boys needed help getting boots on etc. The lesson itself was one hour and this was long enough for our first lesson, once my husband and myself got to grips with a couple of the basic moves, Richard let us practice these while he helped the boys with there moves.
Can’t wait for our next lesson.

How the heck we managed to get out of here without spending any money is a miracle
SO EXPENSIVE everything is way overpriced
GRAVITY seemed to own everything and was ridiculously expensive
We wanted to take my grandson in as it was his birthday I only wanted to watch
She said the best I can do is £35 for the mum and him
And you have to buy our socks
You can’t go in unless you have ours on and and they cost this much…..
Which I think is stupid
To fling and dangle you around for 10 seconds they charge nearly £7
The go karting would have cost us near on £100
So after deciding to leave the centre
All you could smell was vomit
That some delightful person chose to do whilst being hurled and dangled
Clearly ridding themselves of some expensive food
Don’t think il be returning anytime soon

Are we able to access the smaller slopes even though we do not have a lesson? We would find it much more comfortable and beneficial if we we’re able to use the smaller slope before hand as we are not confident skiers. Anybody who can help us would be a great help!!
Written February 9, 2019
No you can’t you can only use the beginner slope as part of a lesson.
If you can ski already and use the lift you can get of half way.
