Amazing, beautiful, thought provoking place to visit. The grounds are kept immaculate. When every where a round us is in chaos, this is a place of reflection of how futile war is. Nobody really wins in the long run . The loss of life on both sides, some only boys.

I’d never visited here before even after living in the area my whole life. It was a very sunny Saturday so my mother suggested a walk over the chase and we ended up here. To be honest I was very impressed with how well maintained the site was - it was much larger than I expected and very thought-provoking, although I have no known connection to anyone buried here it’s a very poignant memorial to those that lost their lives.

It is a Cemetery located within Cannock Chase. It as three main areas, one looking tiny form the road. The pother area larger some way down the road. If you are visiting the chase, then this is one of the places that you should go and view.

Visited by many tourists..
Tranquil place which is kept immaculate in honour of all the soldiers.
With everything else going on in the world, people need to remember.

My partner and I visited the German cemetery and we were totally moved by the amount of graves, especially of the young people who gave their lives in WW2. The cemetery itself is extremely well kept and maintained. What a waste of lives. Quite upsetting but a must see.

A Wonderful Occasion. British and German Children working together. Peace and reconsiliation. There was also a German widow in attendance aged 97. Her husband had been shot down and killed over Kent in 1941. Long may these exchange visits continue.

We didn't plan to visit, we we're just walking past and my girlfriend mentioned that she had never been, so we popped in for a few. I have to say that I had never been till this point either so i was rather surprised when we went in. The word tranquil comes to mind when you step inside, it's very well maintained inside, very pretty as well. We found it rather thought provoking as we wondered around the grounds, it reminds you of how bad the wars really where and makes you think about you own life as we'll, it did for us anyway. I would say worth a little visit, it's not to hard to get to and when we left we felt a little more enlightened.

I've been here various times and a couple of those have been remembrance Sundays. It's a truly compassionate tribute to all of the souls lost during the Great Wars and a must see if you're near or far! Very informative bulletins explain the cemetery's history and layout, a beautiful surrounding for any time of year.
