This was such a wonderful place to go had lovely enclosures and all the animals seemed very happy and well cared for. The whole place was a positive experience from start to finish such lovely little details and very informative signs which clearly showed how much the keepers knew about the animals. Unfortunately there weren’t any talks on at the moment but that didn’t really impact on the day at all. Would certainly recommend to others and was a better day out that Isle of Wight zoo.

Have lived on the isle of wight 4 years now and this was my first visit. Very impressed with how clean the place was. And how friendly the staff were. Playgrounds were good and cafè food too. I also liked the very informative boards telling interesting information about the monkeys. The things i would change is a long bench for kids to stand on so they too can see the top windows in the reptile house. The cafe tables were kept clean when customers left, however no one swept the floor. I would also like to have seen a few more stimulating activities put in the cages for the monkeys. (There were some here and there). But some sat in corners and looked bored & sad. Im no expert. Just an observation from.my eyes. They looked well cared for.

Great day my Nieces thoroughly enjoyed it, watching the Lar monkeys singing and loving an audience, Halloween themed tea for two and successfully finding all the pumpkins on the treasure hunt! Very recommended for all ages.

We had an amazing time and even went back a second time during the week for free. We have 2 children under 2. It was easy to use a pram around the site and a lovely under 5 area by the cafe too. The staff were so friendly and were so happy to chat to us about the primates. You can get really close to the animals too. We really enjoyed our visit and liked the Hallowen trail too. It isn't a place to soend all day but a good morning or afternoon then come back within 7 days for free. Thank you

This is a great place to come. It is the best kept zoo I have ever visited! Its layout and enclosures are incredibly well thought out and designed to ensure the best views possible. I have two young children and they can see all the animals well both stood watching and from in the pram. The site is pram friendly. The staff are always welcoming. It is small but you can see a lot in your visit and take a seat to watch the animals (who are often active). There are two parks on the site for children. One for up to 5 year olds which has been designed well to give them maximum independence and enjoyment. The second is an impressive large park for old children although my younger child can access much of it and loves it.
