I have seen some fabulous exhibitions here - the latest one being Picasso. I can not rate this place highly enough. Also in lovely ground with some excellent modern sculptures. I would love to attend a concert here but only pass through Martigny once or twice a year driving from Italy to the Alps so always during the day. I... More

A gallery exhibiting extraordinary displays of renowned artists set in the beautiful surrounds of Martigny, with a beautiful display in the gardens of sculptures by renowned names such as Moore, Rodin, Niki de Saint Phalle , Max Ernst and a beautiful water feature with mosaic murals by Chagall. The garden is on an ancient Roman site with preserved ruins on... More

This summer, a late period Picasso exhibition is quite wonderful - as have been nearly all those we've ever been to here. It's a magical place.

It would have been easy to walk past had it not been for the extensive advertising around town for the exhibition. The building and gardens with cafe make for a flexible visit. The car exhibition alone is extensive with some rare vehicles. I feel for the price a simple leaflet in English would have helped explain so much more but... More

Like the dog museum across the road, this place also has an even more illogical assembly of a collection: modern art masterpieces and vintage cars. The sculpture garden is delightful and boasts some real treasures like Rodin's kiss. The car collection in he basement is also remarkable.

This was an architecturrally interesting building, with changing exhibitions every few months. Outside there are many sculptures in the gardens. Beneath this building is a car museum, with cars dating back to 1898, some very early Swiss cars as well, you can watch a movie on how one would purchase a car many years ago. This was by purchasing the... More

Fondation Gianadda is a unique museum attracting art lovers from the world for its permanent and temporary exhibitions. When we went there, it was all around Matisse and was exceptional. I also love the old cars display. And the garden is also worth a walk for its sculptures. Really don't miss it if you are around (Geneva in only 90... More

The Foundation puts on some good exhibits, so I am a regular visitor. This time I stopped by to see the Matisse exhibit. I was hoping that my very active young sons would enjoy the permanent exhibit of historic cars, but as I knew there was an excellent and spacious sculpture garden outside, I soon sent them outside to run... This place is absolutely amazing, a very international art museum in a small city like Martigny attracting more that 600'000.- people per year.
