We have been to this area about 5 times now. After living in Breckenridge, CO and Utah, and snowboarding most of the larger resorts, I was excited to ride this part of the Alps. We got on at the Flims village and went up, and up...and up. There are so many lifts and gondolas, it's hard to fathom. Once on... More

This ski resort is only an 1 1/2 hour car ride (2h by train and bus) away from Zürich. Its slopes vary from easy to challenging and even riders looking for some backcountry fun won't be disappointed. In contrary to many other skiresorts, do these three combined resorts try to please the snowboard/freeski community by building some of Europe's best... More

Opened the season skiing here. Has pistes for beginners, intermediates and experts. Glacier is a must with a long and testing ski trail. Good restaurants. Very good lift system. Excellent groomed pistes.

Laax is a very good place to ski. You have hundred of Km to enjoy and party after you finish. It also offers a lot of activities for those that master the Ski/snowboard with Fun parks and Free stile rides (they also host championships)

Stayed here in a great rented apartment for ten days in early March. These three pretty Swiss towns share a ski area and a free shuttle bus service, and the lift systems are interlinked. The skiing is extensive, mostly intermediate, with great snow right down to resort level when I was there. Snowboarders have a wide choice of terrain parks... More

For skiers and snowboard enthusiasts alike, the area offers a wide range of opportunities. Even for those who would like to hike or walk, the choice is yours. Falera (initially called Fellers) is the smallest but also prettiest of them all. When up there, don't miss the Remigius-chappel.

Flims is a ski resort just 90 minutes drive from Zurich. The town itself is not at all pretty and sits on a busy road leading to the very modern Laax. There are a number of restaurants and lots of hotels. expect to pay big money in the restaurants! The skiing tops out at 3000 metres and the run to... More

The Laax ski area is just amazing! It is huge and a lot of new fast ski lifts and cable cars allow almost no waiting time so we could enjoy every minute on the skis. Great restaurants and chalets on the runs for a drink or a lunch completed the experience, service was always friendly and impeccable. Highly recommended, we... More

This is just a awesome place to ski or snowboard. Lots of wide slopes, places to do freeriding and really nice snow park. Lifts are mostly really new and we could find only 1 anchor lift (going to glacier) - rest were gondolas or chairlifts. If the weather is nice, also the views are something what you wont forget...
