Our Madrid experience was fabulous! We owe much of that to Enrique and What to do in Madrid! Our travel was through a tour group in the US that we could purchase optional tours/activities in advance. The tour group we booked our trip with closed all opportunities to reserve all its optional tours 2 weeks before we left. It would not share of the group they used for the tours in Madrid. Their tours were too expensive anyway. That being the case, I went online and searched for tours with the exact same name prior to leaving the US. What to Do in Madrid was one of the results. I was really excited because we might not have made it to Toledo without What to Do in Madrid. The ticket price was significantly lower! I knew I really wanted to go to Toledo to see El Greco's painting and was glad to find an opportunity to go on the tour on What to Do in Madrid’s website. We have a lot of really wonderful pictures from Toledo.

It would be great if What to Do in Madrid did its own tours up there. I think it would work much better with smaller groups. From my experience, the team is awesome and provides so much personalized attention! We had some issues with a couple of the guides hosting the tour to Toledo. Enrique did not hesitate to respond to my concerns and submit a claim to the company about its guides.

Initially, we decided not to go to the Flamenco show because tickets from the US tour group were really expensive. Thanks to Enrique, we went to a wonderful venue and had front row seating for much, much less. The show was great and we would have totally missed out if it wasn't for his suggestion.

We really enjoyed ourselves in Madrid. I had seen Kukuxumusu t-shirts as great souvenirs to buy in Madrid. Enrique did the research I’d actually planned to do myself. He pointed us in the direction of 2 different shops and even recommended which one to go to first. Needless to say, we are now the proud owners of Kukuxumusu shirts!

On our last day, we went Cooking Point and learned how to make paella and sangria. I was going to put Enrique in touch with the owner but, he told me he already knew him. I bet if I had mentioned I was looking for a cooking class, Enrique would have recommended Cooking Point. The day we went, we were the only people who signed up! It was marvelous! If What to do in Madrid recommends Cooking Point, you should not pass the opportunity by.

Getting in touch with What to do in Madrid was the best thing I did before during and after my trip. Prior to arrival I sent Enrique a bunch of questions. He answered them all and provided multiple emails with information on places to eat tapas or paella, spots to chill out, places to listen to live music, museums, bars, coffee shops and even spas! Working with What to do in Madrid was a tremendous experience, I highly recommend getting in touch!! Thanks Enrique and What to do in Madrid!!

I bought a very reasonable €90.00 one way
from Bilbao to Dublin via Madrid and got to spend 23 hours in Madrid which suited my purposes perfectly. The flight was bang on time and arrived ahead of schedule. I would fly Iberia again.

Was good for a 4 day trip.
Lots of buildings to see, fountains and the weather was very hot.
People are very welcoming.
Indian and halal restaurants too.
Our hotel was right in the centre of the city with a lovely park opposite.

Most helpful website I have ever used. All my questions were answered promptly and Enrique was so helpful with information and booking whatever I had asked. We were a large group of 16 so I couldn't have managed without Enriques help.
Thank you for making our trip to Madrid so enjoyable and stress free.

Myself my wife and my 2 sons aged 9 and 11 stayed at the Petit Palace Arenal from 30 Dec to Jan 3rd.
Having only visited Madrid in the past for work visits it was great to go with my family and explore the city in more detail.
I have got to thank Enrique so much from his company what to do in madrid for his help in making sure we had a great time and seeing the best attractions in the time we spent there. If you are ever going to Madrid then please get in touch with Enrique, he will look after you and make your stay perfect.
I would highly recommend Enrique to all my friends and family, in fact he even came to the city centre and met up for a coffee with me and my family, he is a great guy who is brilliant at his job, I now consider Enrique a friend for life and he is more than welcome to stay with me and my family if he visits Liverpool in the UK.
