We navigated to these gardens using Waze but could find the entrance. We gave up after 15 minutes since we already visited Blanes before that.

Marimurtra was difficult for us to find, but once we arrived we felt as if we were visiting someone's backyard that they had painstakingly landscaped. Unlike other botanical gardens, everything is not neat and trimmed back, more to be on display than thrive. At Marimurtra, the plants seem to grow as they please. It is beautiful- at times it feels... More

A fascinating garden with much to see and some marvellous views of this part of the Costa Brava. This is definitely a garden of specimens not all labeled and not all well maintained. Interesting arrangements in geographical zones. Beware your satnav may not have correct information about route and the local signs are inadequate.

These gardens are in a very nice location, up high over looking the ocean. Several areas where you can sit and look out. Garden is seperated into areas, different pathways, ponds and stairways. I am sure it is beautiful in Season however October saw it looking a little bare, evidently a past harsh winter had destroyed some of the plants. We... More

A nice day was had here wondering among the cactuses, palms and all sorts of mediterranean flora. Not a very large Botanical garden in my experience and esp considering the £7 charge per adult but with limited other options in the area I'd recommend it for those who appreciate such attractions.

We visited mid October.Still a bit of colour but it must be even nicer at other times of the year.We walked up the bank from Blanes. It was easier than it looks, took about 15 mins walking, good views of Blanes on the way.We didn't feel ,hassled by the people with the birds, just politely declined to have our photos taken.Views...
