We went to these gardens in early February expecting (from reviews here) something great. Not a bad garden but not worth a long journey to see at this time of year. More than half closed off. 6.50 admission not great value in the Winter.

Costa Brava botanic gardens are a must to visit, they are so so nice and several of them located just next to sea, so you will get great views to sea as bonus while admiring thosee man made paradise gardens. I was almost sole visitor at Marimutra and perhaps it was not usual. Something I missed at those gardens was... More

We visited here after reading trip advisor and had a wonderful time. The gardens are romantic and beautiful. It is cheap to get in at 6 euro each and it's worth every penny. It's on a hill so the views are spectacular and you have to stop and take everything in. It's a great place to relax or take a... More

Very beautiful garden with many different types of "rooms". Take your camera with you, both macro and zoom. 😏 Easy to walk around but there is some hilly parts and 2 long steps. However, you can go around the steps. Very nice views over the sea and coastline. A nice little cafe, giftshop and the tourist-trap parrots you get photographed... More

We were staying in Tossa De Marr and took the bus to Lorett de Marr where on our arrival we caught the bus to Blanes (roughly a 45 minute trip). Worth going to Blanes, I know it was out of season but it is beautiful and hosts a range of boats etc at the local port. It is called Marimurtra.... More

For 6.50 euro's each, we decided it was worth having a look at the gardens having walked up the hill (there is a little train if you don't fancy the trek) to see what it was all about. It was money well spent. There are three gardens. The first depicts arid lands, the second, tropical and the third Mediterranean. You... More
