Our 16yo daughter met Orca diving school in a swimming pool and wanted to do a half day scuba dive initiation and so did we, so we went there.
Although she likes to try things, she's also a very anxious teenager and, once on the boat, she was very much afraid. The team handled this excellently. After 5 mins of trying out on the surface we went down, stayed there for 40 mins and she and we enjoyed every minute of it. Very professional and very likable people, this afternoon was the highlight of our vacation.

Orca Diving is a "small" diving club located in l'Escala, on the Costa-Brava in Catalonia.
In fact, the welcome is friendly, in an almost family atmosphere.
We did not test their broken down (semi-rigid) boat this day, we joined the group on the boat of the club next door, which welcomed us for the occasion.
Positive point: safety and professionalism
Negative point: no shower or toilet, you have to go 50m further to the sailing club toilets.
Small disappointment with the dive site which changed along the way. In general, in August, there are a lot of baptisms and snorkeling, which forces clubs to stay on dive sites suitable for these activities, sheltered and shallow. As we were on another club's boat, we had to follow that club's destination.
