Worth a stop but beware it is warm in there in the middle of the da. Good history of L'escala from the early settlers to the modern day

This is a small museum but very interesting. English texts were available. I really enjoyed it and there was a degree of interactive materials. Sadly, no tasting. It also houses a tourist information centre.

At first glance a museum about anchovies may not look interesting but after our visit I was enthralled about the history. On arrival the lady on the front desk recommended the route around the museum and set up the opening film to play in English...More
