We are a 19 year old couple used Drac Beach twice during our stay in Salou.

Our first experience was from renting bicycles. This cost us 10 euros each for the whole day which was reasonable. They took my driving license as a deposit which i think is reasonable. Bike locks were also included which was nice, so that you could stop during the day. Opening hours are good from 9am till 10pm. Plenty of places to cycle safely in the area with suitable cycle lanes. Bikes were in good condition and lots were available to rent. My chain came off just as we were leaving Drac Beach and they swapped my bike immediately with no questions asked.

We also participated in the Quad Bike Tour and this was without a doubt one of the best days we had during our trip. We rented one quad bike between the two of us and opted for the 5 hour tour which cost us 135 euros. There was also a 3 hour option which cost 100 euros. This price included all safety gear, fuel and transfers from the hotel to the mountains. It is worth mentioning that you need a full driving licence to participate. During the tour we visited various tourist landmarks which were beautiful, including caves. We were led by a lovely tour guide however my only criticism would be that he did not speak english and therefore at times lead to some confusion, it would've also been nice to be able to talk to him about some of the places that we visited but obviously this wasn't possible. I would highly recommend some kind of experience in this before going, or being an experienced driver. The dirt roads are extremely tricky, downhill, windy and incredibly rocky. This actually led to us crashing our quad bike breaking the axel, which in hind sight was very funny, but we were terrified that we were going to be billed a fortune for it. This wasn't the case however, They brought us a new replacement quad bike and we were not charged for the damage. Please wear clothes you don't mind getting ruined as we came home filthy and the dirt did stain our clothes. In addition to this make sure you pack plenty of snacks and water as we didn't and were left 5 hours with no access to water!! All in all we had a great time, and was well worth the money. Highly recommend.

we were picked up from our hotel in a drac beach minibus/dirty scrap dingle bus,i dont even think an MOT station would let it in its doors, we hired 2 quads as we took our 2 children ages 7 and 10 ,quads a little dated with well worn brakes very worn but good fun, our guide didn't speak much English but hey it is Spain, back roads and dry stream beds to the base of the mountains, they didn't take us anywhere that we thought wow this is awesome, they took us to a picture vantage point to take a coupe of snaps then home. would i do it again probably not

Hired a double and a single mobility scooter. They both looked like they had been on a battlefield. The double kept rolling back down hills after brake was applied. We reported this to the company. A young lad came to check it and said there was nothing wrong with it and left it with us.He was probably a third of our weight. The following day after having the same problem and people having to jump out of our way we phoned them to change it for two single scooters. So wasted more time waiting for replacements They were really scruffy. We were ashamed to be seen on them. Then one quickly developed a problem where the steering column falls on to the pavement when you let go. Couldn't be bothered to return it as we wasted a lot of our time waiting for them to to come out to us. Be Warned!

As I cannot cycle, it was a real bonus to find a place that rents out Tricycles. We stayed in Salou, but got the local bus Plana to Cambrils for 2 euros. The bus stopped just outside Drac Beach which is located opposite the main beach at Cambrils. Hire rates were very reasonable and depended on how many hours the cycles were used; we paid 19 euros for a bike and a trike for 5 hours.Hire includes bike locks. They required a passport or cash as deposit., but they accepted a driving licence instead. Attendant spoke passble English.cycle path between Cambrils to Salou followed the beach, and avoided cars and was a really safe lovely scenic ride of 5 miles return with no incline with . A lovely way to enjoy the beautiful scenery at our own pace, stopping for lunch midway. Great day. Highly recommended

We paid the €100 for the 3 Hour quad excursion and halfway through we just wanted to go. Quads had very bad tyres and breaks. They had no grip on steep slopes and the guide was very abrupt and rude. He spoke no English and only brought us to one vantage point for a picture. That was a beautiful view but the journey there and home was not worth it. Would definitely not recommend!

Went to hire a road bike for a spin arranged the following day was told that the only frame available was a large, I said I Ride a small at home and went to try elsewhere on leaving the young lady asked me to wait and she would call their other shop on cambrillis - she informed me there was one medium frame available that would be brought up later that evening.
I called at closing time to collect the bike on was told that there was no medium frame there ! I said I had plans for the morning was told that we are closed and ushered out the door - totally unhelpful and rude do not go to this place

There was a scooter excursion advertised in our hotel we were staying at. After a lot of ummming and ahhhing my husband and I decided to go check this out only after walking the 20 minutes to the base only to be told they do not do scooter tours anymore but we can hire scooters for the day. The hotel we were staying at were also unaware of this. We would have preferred an excursion and we're looking forward to it.

This was the best experience of our holiday in Spain, we hired quads for 3 hours the guide was awesome and friendly, we went on the Spanish roads, off riding up into the mountains. We was able to stop of at a few sites to take photos etc. Their is nothing out their like these guys, especially in the UK when it comes to a quad biking experience. The next day we hired a scooter and again we had great fun. The company are ace, friendly and the price is worth every penny. If your out at Salou in Spain rattle these guys up cos they are ace!
