About
Parc Samà is a garden with memory, a Mediterranean orchard, a poetic forest, a melancholic palace… Parc Samà is the summer residence that in 1881 built Salvador Samà , Marquis of Marianao, between Cambrils and Montbrió, surrounded by vineyards, olive and almond trees. It is the legacy of an ‘Indiano’, a fusion of styles and a delight for the senses.

Amazing and very friendly places to spend an hour or two. Can be somewhat windy, mind the forecast. There is a small coffee shop to have some rest after the walk (likely a bigger restaurant inside is working during the season time). Here you can also buy a local vermouth Yzaguirre made with about 80 various herbs and spices. Lavender field, deer eating from your hands, sucks, grotto, carrots, peacocks, waterfall, playground... hard to recall everything. That was fun, strongly recommend visiting.

We spent a lovely morning at Parc Sama situated a short drive away from Cambrils centre. This beautiful Parc has so much to offer and will appeal to many tastes. The Parc has wildlife such as deer which you can feed, peacocks roaming the grounds and turtles swimming in the lakes! There is a magnificent lavender field, a grand Manor House and bridges and pathways that take you on a journey into its past glory. This tranquil haven is complete with different species of plants and trees some of which are rare. There is a small gift shop selling local produce and souvenirs and the place is run by friendly helpful staff.

Parc Sema was clearly once a very beautiful and unique place to visit. However, it is not being maintained well. Overall, the Parc is looking dirty and shabby - weeds growing everywhere, ponds/canals needing cleaning out, buildings/walls etc. In need of renovation.
My partner visited here many times as a child and felt a bit sad seeing it looking like this. It doesn’t do justice to the creators original vision.
Once there was a beautiful wooden table and chairs in the tower which is there no more.
The place really needs some love to return it to its former glory.

It might not be as good as it once was but Parc Sama is still worth a visit. It is a very picturesque park, especially around the lake and the villa (although you can't go in). It was fun to explore with lots of lovely views. There is a gift shop with friendly staff and a cafe serving food and drinks. We visited by bus from Reus, which stopped just outside. We then walked into Cambrils afterwards, although this took longer than we expected.

Interesting historical gardens, does what it says on the tin. It would be great if they could open up the mansion as it looks amazing. Overall a good break from the beach/pool with plenty to keep children occupied for 3-4hours.

We visited Park Sama whilst on holiday in Cap Salou and only came across it by chance. It was a real find and we loved it! A 'national trust' type experience in rural Spain with some unexpectedly beautiful follies, grounds and loads of photo opportunities. There are deer to feed for the kids and a few other animals but not loads.
It cost us 26€ for 2 adults and one child over 7. Under 7s are free. We bought a packed lunch for each of our daughters at 7€ each - this included sandwich, crisps, sweets, olives and an ice cream.
As adults we also tried some of the vermouth they produced. The staff were very friendly and were pleased to greet us.
If you want to get away from the normal tourist trail then this is worth a trip.
Thank Parc Sama for a lovely day out out.

Was looking for a nice excursion to go on whist in Salou and saw this in the Bus Plana booklet. Pictures looked amazing so had to go and explore this place for myself. The coach ride was quick and when we arrived the place was beautiful. There was a tour guide, but we decided to look around the place on our own. There was peacocks, geese, ducks, turtles, parrots and deers. The place was gorgeous and I would highly recommend it. You can feed the deer, corn is available to buy from the gift shop when entering. The only downside is there is no food, only ice creams to purchase from the shop. If you do want food I suggest bringing your own. Overall if you want a nice relaxing place to visit, definitely go here.

We stumbled on this wonderful place by accident. Actually we were driving by and saw a castle like structure on some crazy looking "mountain". We had to check it out! Come to find out Antoni Gaudi had a hand in this crazy wonderful architecture!
Yes, I will admit the grounds were not in pristine shape like they could have been. But, in order to keep everything in this HUGE place green and perfect would be cost prohibitive. The grounds are huge! I am going to share some photos of some of the wonderful architecture found on these grounds.

Cool park not far from cambrils. The entrance fee is more or less free if you go there with the city train that you can catch on the port (the ticket include the entrance of the park)
Kids loved the place. Good for half a day

I'm a keen gardener and I'd NEVER let my garden get into this state - weed infested, parched and lacking any worthwhile botanical features. The lake water was green. There are loads of well-kept bushes and lawns you can see for nothing around the Costa Dorada, my advice is to give this place a miss!
