This is a gorgeous church in the heart of Cadaques. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised to find a meditation space complete with zafus set up in a side chapel. After a long day of driving and walking, a 20 minute unplanned meditation session was really a wonderful delight.

It is all about the altar. Put one Euro in the slot and sit back and admire the workmanship in front of you. This is a memorable church. Not a masterpiece but thought provoking.

on top of the town, with a very nice view across the bay, if you are looking to kill time before lunch or after to digest the great food, it's a nice stop!

A very prety church in a beautiful seaside town. You'll need to pay 1 Euro to see the alter light up (if someone else hasn't already done so) but it's well worth it.

Went here as we had met an artist who painted the surrealistic tribute to Dali in the chapel on the left. Got a guided tour by a lovely old man who went out of his way to speak Spanish and slowly so my wife could understand and translate for me.

If in Cadaques, go to the church. The altar is worth the visit alone. You can pay a euro and have them turn on the lights for a few minutes (7 i think) should it be dark inside. Pretty impressive for such a diminutive church and town.

Come to see the altar for yourself. It is impossible to describe. Stay and pray. If you can attend a concert here, as we did, it is priceless!

This white stone, fisherman's church has dominated this lovely Costa Brava village since the 13th century. It was mostly destroyed in 1543 and then rebuilt and renovated almost every century since. Inside are ornate, baroque homages to Jesus, the Virgin Mary and others. They are gilded, over the top, out of scale but representing centuries of pious devotion. When inside... More

Small church on the hills of CADAQUES. An over the top golden altar intimidating you as you come in. On the left hand side of the church there is a meditating area. I loved that. For that reason I give the church a 4star not a a 3star.

We walked here from our hotel. It was a lovely stroll and the cathedral was lovely. The outside does not prepare you for how lovely it is inside. Very peaceful, very spiritual, very beautiful.
