This statue stands on the sea front in the centre of the village. It is an impressive piece of work and properly represents the swagger and self-assurance of the man.

For sure, some of what drew me to Cadaqués was the whole thang with the Dali mystique... and here he was to greet us!

Situated right on the beach this statue is a central feature of the Cadaques seafront. It summarises in one pose the swagger and charm of Dali, the most famous person associated with this resort.

We stumbled upon Salvador Dali's statue while we walked around the beautiful town of Cadaques where he lived for much of his life. There is a museum in town. Very nice place to walk.

Hi All, This place is magical, cadaques is super nice. Salvador Dali is standing right in the middle of the bay. His spot, his pose, it is really really nice. its also a great walk to his home, approx: 30 minutes if you walk slowly.

We popped into Cadaques on the spur of the moment and were charmed by the sheer beauty of the place. The main car park was full when we arrived, but by driving along the seafront, past Mr Dali's statue, we came to another car park...More

Cadaques is a very pretty place , lots of white buildings, small streets and a beautiful beach. I feel sure that Salvador Dali would have been very happy living just around the bay. We just visited for the morning and would have been happy to...More
