The actual building was built, like it was almost done entirely in one piece, and this in between the year 1692 and 1705. The structure has on his side two towers. The ground floor of the building has a labyrinth of columns to walk through. All together a nice building to look at.

We sat in the square with this building at one end. Many benches to sit and rest. Lots of restaurants and bars are here. Nice to take pictures in front of it. At the time we were here there was a wedding so good to see. Underneath the square is an underground carpark with access stairs in the square.

Nice building, headquarters of the town hall, located in the heart of the city. When we visited it, we found four big-headed figures in the hall.

In a real spanish style, the townhall of Ponferrada has a wonderful architecture and is located on the central plazza Ayuntamiento; typical tableaux to take a picture of this nice building and square.
