The Port of Corralejo is situated on the northeast coast of the island of Fuerteventura.

From here there are 3 Ferry Companies that provide multiple daily sailings from Corralejo to Lanzarote

All 3 lines, Fred Olsen Express, Lineas Maritimas Romero and Armas have offices in the Port's Terminal Building. The Excursion Centre and Cicar Hire Company are also located here.

As well as the larger ferry boats there are loads of smaller boats, comprising of fishing boats, tour boats, including glass bottom boat and some for hire.

Walking down Av. Marítima, along the top of the Port there are numerous bars and restaurants. The Official Tourist Information Office is also there, it cannot be missed 2 large green statues, "monument to the fishermen", are outside it.

This leads on to Calle Playa Cho Leon, this quay area is lined with little kiosks were tours, jet, boat trips to Isla de Lobos can be purchased. As well as glass bottom boat trips and jet ski.

It is possible to catch busses from the Port. Route 06 to Puerto del Rosario, passing Riu Hotels on the way, leaves from here at 20 and 50 minutes past the hour.

Visited Corralejo at the end of August & at the end of September, & took a few strolls along the harbour edge.

In August things were starting to look a bit busier, with more peeps around, but by the end of September, after the British & German Quarantine restrictions, plus the Spanish kiddies going back to school, the place was so much quieter.
Fingers crossed the Winter season gets chance to develop.

pretty local harbour with a vast array of small, medium and large sailing vessels to look at.
Trips to Lobos Island can be booked at various stalls in the harbour, from the glass bottom boat to water taxi...amazing fun!!!!

Lots to see. Book your water activities - panel boarding, jet ski, ferry crossing etc.
Lots of restaurants nearby. Sit and watch the world go by on the resting places.

Strange to see this normally busy port so quiet.
Still has the ferries coming in and out, but not as full as usual.
No tourist traffic or activities either.

Plus only a few restaurants open, hopefully will start getting back to some sort of normality soon.

The brilliant views are still there though.

The port in Corralejo is a pretty and quite place.

There are some bars near the port although most stretch to the beach side.

It is tranquil and the sea is full of fish in the port. The fish are visible from the waters edge. See my pictures.

You can participate in several water sports from the port and the tour guides are selling tickets all along the main part of the sea front.

You can also take a catamaran to the Island of Los Lobos or a ferry to Lanzarote Playa Blanca from here.

It’s a nice walk.

My first time in Corralejo and I so loved the resort. This sea front walk from the Corralejo Beach Hotel along the sea front was so nice. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to stop at if you need a break. I would walk along the sea front and sit on one of the many benches and just enjoy watching the boats and the large ferries. We did catch the ferry to Lanzarote one day and that was a lovely trip. The harbour/marina is a little gem away from the main hustle and bustle but just a short enjoyable walk to escape from the various shops. I thoroughly enjoyed my walks there, both day and evening times.

A working port and Ferry terminal from Lanzarote. Plenty to see in the harbour. The local school has "lessons" every morning teaching the kids to kayak, sail etc. Wonderful to see how competent and confident they were.
Quite a few harbour side Cafes, the "touristy" ones being more expensive (of course). We found the ones the locals use, especially the one at the huge blue painted warehouse being excellent. (Dont worry - its much better than it sounds. Go see.)
The only disappointment is to see the amount of litter that is thrown down into the rocks surrounding the harbour etc. No need for that - there are LOTS of waste bins everywhere.

We loved walking down to the harbour/port area. So many bars and restaurants to choose from. Or you can just sit on the beach or a bench and watch the boats coming and going.

The walk along the beach front is a lovely. Beautiful houses on one side, moving onto restaurants and the old town, and the sea and views of Lobos on the other.
We used to walk along the beach into town most evenings just before sunset and find a bar and enjoy the view.
A perfect way to end every day!!

In the old town harbour there is a regular ferry that comes and goes to Lanzarote in the harbour but that does not spoil the view or the atmosphere.

The waterfront / harbour is scattered with some great restaurants and bars.
So whether you want a late lunch of tapas, or a cocktail watching the sunset or a beautifully cooked fish supper - this is the place to be.
