We weren’t really that impressed with the breakfast offering at our hotel, so went for a short walk where we came across Hoplaco. It was just what we needed. Not only was it better than our hotels offering, but it was reasonably priced, plentiful and decent ingredients. Everything you’d expect of a good English breakfast. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would reccomend.

what a joy spending lunchtime and afternoons here! From sitting down, the staff are swift, polite and very friendly, the drinks flow and are VERY reasonably priced. There is a good menu for lunch from burgers and jackets and pies - all very tasty, good portions and again, very good prices. Amazing little find and look forward to returning!! Thankyou all at Hoplaco for adding good memories to our holiday!

Being a chef, I am always on the lookout for good quality food. I passed this place on my merry travels and thought I'd give it a whirl, I wasn't disappointed. The staff are so happy and friendly and the food is of the highest quality, freshly made and good sized portions too. I HIGHLY recommend that you pay this place a visit, it's a must!!!

What a way to start your day! If you visit one place whilst on the island come here you will not be disappointed. The food was cooked perfectly, and I can assure you, contrary to a review I read whilst sat there, the sausages and bacon are not cheap! (But the bill is!) This place does a great English breakfast with great service! Keep up the good work! Two very satisfied customers 😁

We had sandwiches, toasties and pies for lunch. Great food and fantastic service. Fantastic views of the beach and the sea. Half our group wanted sunshine and half wanted shade and they went out of their way to set up the tables as we wanted. Will be back.

Excellent friendly service and fantastic food. Great breakfast, good quality food and excellent value for money. Fabulous lunch, great menu choice. We had salads which were second to none. Really enjoyed. Would recommend and will return.

Wish we had found this cafe earlier for breakfast. Got fed up with hotel breakfast so on last couple of days ate here - really enjoyed the full English and also the Hungry Horse. Lovely view too and friendly staff.

Just had the scampi and chips and it was bloody amazing!! The chips were homemade chunky chips, crispy on the outside and soft in the middle. The scampi was sooo tasty and the tarter sauce....yum! My DD has the Cajun chicken and chips and loved it! I've always loved this area, right back to when Sarah and Barry ran a cafe here many years ago...add tasty food with a brilliant view of the sea and you have an amazing combination!

I would highly recommend anyone to eat and drink at Hoplaco Beach Bar! So far, this is the only place where I have really enjoyed eating. I had a full English breakfast and everything was British including the bacon, sausage, and hash browns. Everything was cooked to perfection and went down a treat! I noticed food coming out to other tables from the main menu and it all looked appetising! Definitely going back to try some of the homemade dishes on the menu. All the staff were very welcoming, friendly and polite. Yes, I am British and I like my home comforts even when abroad. I like to leave honest reviews, whether it is positive or negative so other travellers can hopefully experience the same! See you again Hoplaco team! And thank you for your lovely hospitality!

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Great place for a drink and food. We had a lovely lunch with fresh produce and very tasty. The choice was very good and so was the price. Definitely will be back. Lots going on including bingo.
