Wow. What a fantastic way to spend an evening. We did the VIP Finca Experience which was a private experience for just the two of us. This is decidedly not mass-market wine tourism where you are bussed from one vineyard to the other. This is a much more personalised experience.

What a wonderful way to spend an evening. Miriam who is the sommelier and your guide for the evening is a wonder.

Due to Covid, the itinerary was changed from what was published on the website. We did not visit the other winery and instead spent all of our time at Can Piza. However, this did not detract from the experience even slightly. Miriam does an excellent job of making you feel very welcome in what is their home and as an added bonus, they also have some wonderful dogs who will no doubt visit you during your visit.

We started our evening at a table next to one some of the fields of vines and had a truly spectacular view of the Serra de Tramuntana. There we tasted our first wines of the evening before moving onto a tour of the house and winemaking facilities before heading back into the garden where we had dinner, more wine and some beautiful views over Palma.

The wines served (8 in all) were all small production wines which are not for the export market and so were all new to us. We enjoyed almost all of them and they were all at least interesting to try. Miriam is also a fountain of knowledge about these things. I would also note that there is no penny-pinching here. Despite being served 8 wines, we were served plenty of each - you will not be left thirsty. However, one advantage of these small production wines is that a minimum amount of sulfites is used which meant that there was no headache in the morning.

The food was also outstanding and again, plentiful. All homemade Mallorquin food, it was delicious and varied.

The fields of vines, the rustic farmhouse, the beautiful gardens with the unbeatable views, the food and the wine make for a vision of a bucolic ideal. If you have ever had the fantasy of quitting your job and buying a little farm or vineyard in the Mediterranean and living the good life, this lets you experience that fantasy for an evening.

Overall, absolutely brilliant and was one of the highlights of our trip to Mallorca. Whilst this was an expensive evening, it was definitely worth every single penny (or cent, as it were). Highly recommended.

We are fortunate enough to live on the beautiful island of Mallorca.
Wanting to celebrate my husband's birthday I arranged a VIP Finca experience.
What a great afternoon and evening we had.
Started the event sitting under the shade of an olive tree drinking wine produced from the vines just behind us, accompanied with some lovely tapas.
Following a walk from the vineyard up to the family's finca we then enjoyed a wonderful meal. The slow cooked lamb using meat from their own farm was the highlight of the menu.
Throughout the event our host, Miriam, shared a number of local wines from different producers with us. With each one she would give us insights into the wineries philosophy and history.
If you are heading to Mallorca and want to explore the wines our island has to offer we can thoroughly recommend the team at Mallorca Wine Tours to guide you through a tasting.

My husband, Bob, and I had the private wine tour with Miriam (and Julian!). What an absolute treat this tour was for us! Miriam and Julian are both such gracious hosts and so thoroughly knowledgeable when it comes to wine. We were picked up and returned to our hotel. They were attentive and really focused all of their attention on us. Miriam and Julian personally cooked us a private dinner at Julian's home after a day of wine tasting with Miriam. I cannot begin to describe the ambiance, graciousness and charm that these two create for their clients. What an absolutely memorable day this was for us. I cannot express enough how FABULOUS of a time that we had. This is a MUST do for your trip to Mallorca! Don't spare any expense. There is no comparison when you have these two as your one on one hosts!

We went for a small celebration which is not an easy to do safely in Covid times (we were all from the same household) but Miriam pulled it off in expert style and we had an absolutely great time.

We did the finca experience so we were the only people in the vineyard and then at the finca. Miriam was very knowledgeable and passionate about the wine without giving us a lecture. The wines we tasted were really good and has some lovely tapas to ensure you could still walk when finished.

Then we went on the Finca which is a beautiful building with much history and the owners gave us a lovely tour of his own small wine production and cellar. Dinner was beyond magical with the food definitely being a high point. I have honestly nothing but good things to say about this experience id go again in a heartbeat!

This tour appears to be quite expensive but not when you consider what you get for your money. You are collected for private transfer to the vineyard where you are told all about how the wine is made while tasting 2 different white wines accompanied by snacks. Paul was extremely knowledgeable and it was wonderful to sit amongst the vines that produced the wine you we’re drinking. Then you are transferred to the home of the vineyard owner where the wine is produced and given a tour of the beautiful Mallorcan home and more information about the process from the very charming , Miriam. Finally, you get to sit below the trees overlooking the bay of Palma where you try a further five wines and eat delicious home made tapas. The portions are generous and you could have as much wine as you liked. Everything was relaxed and unhurried. The best wine tour we have been on. Thank you to Miriam and the team for a fantastic day out. Highly recommended.

This was one of the best wine tours we’ve done anywhere in the world!

We enjoyed some fabulous wines and food prepared by people truly passionate about their craft! At locations that were from the 16 and 1700s!

Julian and Miriam set up an amazing day for us at two different wineries with tapas and food and everything was amazing.

The wines were wonderful and everything was COVID safe. They were especially patient with us since one of our party was on crutches but they never let it seem like a hindrance. It truly was a VIP experience, but it was more than that, they made us feel like family.

If you are in Mallorca, you MUST contact Miriam and Julian for a tour!

My wife and I enjoyed a fantastic day on the private tour. Our pick up was on time, Gil (excuse the spelling!) was super friendly and knowledgeable.

Once we arrived we were greeted by Miriam who walked us through the wine making process as well as a beautiful old Mallorquin house - this wasn't a scripted tour, it was clear that Miriam had a real passion for and knowledge of wine and wine-making. We were lucky enough to experience the winery during harvest and it was great to have a guide that was clearly hands on in all aspects of the process.

On our first stop we enjoyed four wines (rose, white and two reds) paired with some tapas, all of which was delicious!

On our 2nd stop we tried three wines from the boutique winery, including a lovely blue wine! The food was paired with a fatastic three course meal, set in the beautiful gardens of the winery, overlooking the bay of Palma.

Miriam and the team were covid safe throughout which really put us at ease and allowed us to enjoy this great experience. We would highly recommend the tour to anyone visiting Mallorca. It was a real insight into the hard work and passion that goes into the production of a Mallorquin winery that's not one of the big supermarket names here.

We enjoyed our tour with Miriam and Julian very much. It was one of the best tours we’ve ever done starting at Mallorca’s oldest winery and ended ag their own boutique winery. Their hospitality, knowledge, the wealth of information shared as well as the food and wines we enjoyed were absolutely fantastic. Highly recommended.

Yesterday we went with some friends to celebrate my birthday on the VIP finca experience.
The whole evening was just amazing. We were fortunate to be there just as the last of the harvest was happily fermenting to turn the humble grape into their delicious boutique wines.
Miriam is so passionate about sharing her love, and knowledge, of wine that the time just flies by. She prepared a fabulous meal and paired each course with a wine from a local producer. We tried a number of wines from producers that you just don’t see in any other setting.
We have been a number of times, and each time we try something new and exciting.
This is a must do experience whist in Mallorca.

A wonderful, informative and fun afternoon spent in a perfect location overlooking Palma and the Tramuntana mountains. From initial enquiry to being dropped back at our hotel, Julian couldn’t do enough. The wines tasted (near full pub measures so not really a normal tasting) were lovely. Produced on this small boutique vineyard in a true organic way. The food served alongside completed the experience. This was more like sat eating dinner with friends in their garden. So much drunk and no hangover.
