Good beach but there are much better ones nearby and on the Island. I would avoid due to the extortionate costs of hiring sunbeds and parasols. €35 for the day for 2 sunbeds and a parasol. Not advertised anywhere and not worth this price. Much cheaper on other, better beaches. People were leaving when faced with paying these prices. A rip off. Avoid Sa Coma beach if hiring anything there.

The market on a Wednesday is packed.
But everything is fake they are charging you €30 for a real Rolex that's €20,000.
Stalls do custom engraving and hot food.
Go here and not for the fake MK bags and watches
It's ok but try cala millor instead.
Bigger better and £5 in a taxi

The location is good but other than that it’s extremely noisy during the night (one night until 2am 70 decibels inside my room, 90 decibels on the balcony). The food is ok but was many days where the juices during breakfast tasted fermented (old) and the plates and cups were always dirty at the buffet. The pool area and the bottom pools were dirty and the bedrooms (although I request to clean everyday) some parts were never clean.
The staff can be nice but not necessarily efficient. They like to be personal but that doesn’t mean that things will be done as expected.
The Wi-Fi extremely weak and unstable.
Unfortunately I don’t recommend this hotel.

We had a family holiday here this summer, it was really nice. Great beach, with good facilities. Plenty of restaurants along the attractive seafront promenade. Great boat trips available to several locations, very reasonably priced. Good bus service too. We rented a villa, ideal location for all ages. Nice flat walk to the beach from all the local hotels. Calm safe water, lifeguards on duty. Beautiful clear warm water.

Sad Coma beach was just a 5 minute walk from the hotel. It has everything you need for a family or couples beach day. Plenty of cafes, places to shop and get your usual sea side tat. It costs 35 Euros a day for 2 sun bed. You get a sun shade, table and a safe too. Plus 2 free drinks.
It’s clean and the sea is warm and inviting. Shallow for the kiddies too.

First went on holiday o this resort with small children 20 years ago and had a realy great time. Beach is super with white sand and a loely promonade. Went back last year to say at the Majorca Palace but he changes have not been to enhance but is still is s nice resort. Good bus links to Caves of Drach and nearby Porto Cristo.

Clean 1 mile long beach marred by seaweed and debris. Not cleaned up by council at Easter time. Quite windy. Lifeguarded. Free car park. Bar & Restaurants on edge plus Pharmacy and ATM and small Spa. Nature reserve at back. No public free WC's. Use bars.

Spent the day here and had a great time, kids loved it.
We heard rumors from the locals that the beach has skeletons under it, but we did not find any.
There is like a little tower castle thing with a bar not too far from there with nice views.

Lovely area with amazing beaches, plenty of bars and restaurants. The only thing that lets it down completely for me are the carriage horses. They work from 9 in the morning until 11 at night in 35 degree heat pulling large families! No readily available water and minimal shade. Most of the horses are in very poor condition with Ill fitting shoes and swollen legs and people still continue to get on them!? How many horses have to die in mallorca before they stop This?...or at least put tighter restrictions on them?

The beach is roughly a kilometre long and made up of fine sand, which shelves gently into the sea, making it good for families with younger children. There are 2 lifeguards on duty until 6pm. There is a coloured flag system in use - green for the sea is safe to swim in, yellow for be aware of potential dangers (larger waves, etc) and red for when swimming is forbidden. There are also orange flags which fly from the lifeguard station when the lifeguard is not present.
There are around 450 fixed beach umbrellas and sunbeds to rent. When we were there in September 2016, the umbrellas were 6 euros a day to hire and sunbeds 5 euros each. There are also 2 small areas covered by a tarpaulin for wheelchair users, accessible by a wooden walkway, which are free to use. although the tarpaulin is removed just before the lifeguard goes off duty at 6pm.
There is a banana boat, paragliding and jet skis for the adventurous among you. Banana boat was 10 euros for a 10 minute trip. I didn't see the costs for the paragliding and jet skis.
There is a traffic free promenade behind the beach, with 3 beachside restaurants, which have toilets for the use of all beachgoers, whether eating/drinking in the restaurant or not. You just need to watch out for the variety of cycles and pedal cars using the promenade. The promenade is lit up in the evening and makes for a lovely stroll to walk off your evening meal.
There are also boat trips departing from the jetty at the south end of the beach, which go to various locations up and down the coast. The cost depends on where you want to go and the amount of time the trip takes.
There are beach vendors walking up and down all day selling fruit, offering massages, plus others selling fake sunglasses and handbags. If you are not interested, simply say no thanks and they will move on.
All in all, it's a good beach and a lovely place from which to enjoy the sun.

Are small pop up beach tents allowed on the beach please? For the kids to shelter when the sun gets too much? Many thanks.

Yes the beach is sandy and clean. We take my mum who has mobility issues and this is one of the easier beaches as it’s lovely and flat.

Here now, August 2019, the sunbeds with blue mesh are perfectly comfortable and cost 16 Euro for 2 beds plus an umbrella with safe.
