Overview

World famous, are visited since 1898; inside is lake Martel, considered one of the largest underground lakes in the world, where live classical music concerts are performed every day. You can cross the lake on a boat at the end of the concert. BEWARE, there are two caves to visit in Porto Cristo, the largest and more frequently visited are the Caves of Drach. We advise to get tickets online from our web page, the same price than at the ticket office and you don´t need to print it.

The caves themselves are spectacular but when you're shuffling along with what seems like hundreds of other people in a confined space they lose their magic. I'm not sure if they are always so busy in the tourist season but I would definitely try and...More

There is a little lagoon behind the entrance to the caves.. if you have time climb down and go swimming in it. Kids loved it even though they were in their pants.

Excellent website, easy to book tickets for myself and family. Easy to get to. Bus stops right outside. Kids loved the caves. Little concert was just 10mins and was beautiful. We get the rowing boat back which was lovely and again the kids loved it.

Much better then I had expected, such a beautiful place. Tickets were booked in advance on line, and the hourly bookings meant that the crowds were staggered, so it didn't feel over busy. Big cafe area with shops for before and after if needed, and...More

We nearly didn't go due to the review of large amounts of people, feeling claustrophobic and the u appealing tours available from our resort but we decided to hire a car and go ourselves. We went on a Sunday to the 1pm slot (having brought...More

Timed visits (on the hour on the day we visited), combined with online booking, made this easy. We visited with a pre-schooler with no problems. Parents with babies parked their buggies outside and carried their infants. Lots of steps but none steep or difficult. People...More

Nice but crowded with people. Could be a better experience for the public if the cave was better lightened with coloured lights.

the tours are every hour on the hour so you would be on the 10am tour. I doubt that the tickets for this time would be sold out.

I don't know the answer but the staff were very helpful when I rang up with a question so I'm sure they would be able to help if you give them a call.
