Coming to colonia sant Jordi, people are keen to tell you about the great beaches. Es Dolc is a short walk from the Port beach along a scenic coastal path but doesn’t live up to the hype. The beach itself is flat, sandy and even, and the sea is beautifully clear. The walk into the beach is perfect for kids, gently sloping into the water. I can kind of see what the excitement is about but not quite! The sun beds are expensive - twice the price of the Port beach next next door, coming in at a whopping €14 each. The biggest disappointment is the beach bar hut. Responding to the Big adverts for delicious looking Smoothies on the outside of the hut itself, we were met with a firm and not very polite ‘not at this time of day’ response! Soft Drinks were served in cans only and service seemed to be at a struggle. A happy place it ain’t, and would qualify for one star, reviewed on its own. The beach is popular although beds were easy to get and the biggest downside is a faint odour that continuously wafts across the beach. Nice in the sun but nothing to write home about.

Nice clean beach, sufficient room (even on weekends), spending relaxing time between Spanish families. Clean and cool(er) water!

Swam in the sea here, made me fall back in love with sea swimming. Clear water, cool but lovely and good beach.

Sheltered sandy beach a short walk from Colonia sant Jordan. Worse part was the toilet as only one available and not the cleanest. Very scenic place with shower and cafe. 2 sun beds and umbrella 25 Euro. Worth a visit
