We truly enjoyed our visit to this small winery which had moved to a new updated building since our last visit 4 years prior. The owners did the tasting and gave us a nice description of the process. Very well done!

My friends came from other states to come and visit me in Richmond and we decided to have a girl's day and go to wineries around Charlottesville. We went to three of them! I think this is the one we had the best time at!...More

Thank you very much for coming out to visit us with your group. We are glad you had a good time and have added water to the tasting bar for people to rinse or sip as they see fit!

I'm very pissed that they charge for tasting when we bought a bottle. They had some good, respectful wine, couple that owns it extremely nice and place was very neat, organized, and clean. When I come to your place, taste wine, and actually buy a...More

This is a darling little winery and we were thrilled to find it after huge crowds at some of the popular wineries nearby. You drive in on a dirt road and really think you've gone the wrong way but the little house at the end...More

The one wine be bought was from a different winery they happened to be pouring. We tasted 3 wines. We sat in a small sitting room after our tasting and drank a glass of wine. It doesn't look like a winery from outside. No paper...More

NOW NAMED WISDOM OAK WINERY. We were a little hesitant to taste wine in what looked like someone's house after winding down the littlest country road (possibly ever). However, once you walk it, the tasting room is something out of Sonoma. It is very well...More

This winery is off the beaten path, but the wines are very very good and the atmosphere is very personal. Our group of three gals really enjoyed our tasting on a Sunday afternoon. Their cabernet chocolate sauce was also fabulous.

the drive is pretty and the sugar leaf maple is always gorgeous. The wine is better thanaverage but the pours for the tastings are barely a full swallow. They have the smallest pours of any vineyard we have been too. It isn't a fancy venue...More

I recently bought a deal for Sugarleaf through Travel Zoo. As a part of the deal, the winery advertised that we could take home two bottles of wine(up to $20 each). When we showed up, they limited our choices down to their two cheapest bottles...More
