We come to Cala Dor every year and the Jolly Roger is the first place we visit. We always receive a warm welcome from Ruth and her staff. The food is fabulous and both food and drinks are reasonably priced. Would highly recommend a visit to the Jolly Roger it is set on the marina and the views are beautiful.

We had a lovely visit on our first day in Cala D'or. The lady who served us was really friendly and happy to recommend other places to go in the area for the football that we wanted to watch. Lovely views of the marina too.

We went here for breakfast as it’s a lovely location. It was great to be able to watch the boats come into and leave the harbour. The staff were very friendly and efficient. We all went for a full English breakfast and it was quite nice but nothing noteworthy. The orange juice wasn’t great but was included in the price (€7.5). We would certainly go back.

We came here for a quick drink and maybe a snack after eating a very small portion of fish and chips elsewhere. Unfortunately, the kitchen was closed, but the owner Ruth was absolutely fantastic and gave us two large bowls of crisps and mini chedders to go with our drinks. We ended up having a lovely long chat with Ruth and had a great evening! Her husband Julio ( I hope i spelt that correctly ) arrived just before we were leaving, and he was just as friendly as Ruth. Highly recommend this bar. Lovely people.

Once again Ruth and her team didn’t disappoint. Still the same smiling welcome and great service. We hired a car from our hotel in Santa Ponsa to come to Cala D’Or for our Jolly Rodger lunch. Great food and the cold beers we’re just right. Keep singing Ruth and we’ll be back.

Staff were lovely, so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We arrived on such a hot day and were made to feel really welcome. Our food for adults and children was brilliant, just what we needed! The location was amazing!!! A beautiful marina

Visited for a sandwich and drinks on a lunchtime. The egg Mayo sandwich was off the menu, (apparently blame covid), and so I ordered chicken on brown but asked for Mayo. Received an ok sandwich with crisps and salad but no Mayo, fortunately there were sachets of Mayo and salt on the table in a basket so I was able to add this myself. Sangria was served in a very small glass, and not one of the best I’ve tasted. Partner had a tuna sandwich which he said was ok but bland and a beer. Overall the experience was lack lustre and that seems to be the whole attitude on the Marina this year. Yes it’s not been easy for businesses but it’s not been easy for most and when holiday makers do make an effort in these times to get abroad and choose restaurants we are looking for an eating experience that makes us feel ‘jolly’ good, rather than one which is decidedly average.

Lovely views on the side of the marina but with the sound of English football and not a great selection of snacks and not a brilliant coffee its not somewhere to visit again. Also saw disgruntled faces on some of the other customers.

Went to the Jolly Roger on our first night in Cala D'or, ended going back every day for at least one drink. The staff were wonderful, friendly and gave us honest advice which meant we had a much better experience of what was available to us. They serve genuine brand name drinks - generously - and the food is good quality and perfect for pub fare. They were happy to show football and cricket (or whatever sport you may be into).
This venue is well suited to all ages, and we certainly saw a good mix of people who seemed to return there in the same way we did.
Very highly recommended and is the first place we'll go on our next trip to Cala D'or.

Went to Calla d'Or recently and while on a walk into the town decided to have a meal at the Jolly Roger, It didn't go down too well, they were out of three of the items on the menu we wanted then in the end ordered a cheese sandwich with a side order of chips and that came back as a toastie. There was a young lad serving the table and he only seemed interested in what was on his phone. One to miss this one for me
