Nice, emerald green water, few sunbeds to rent and beach bar with snacks (adults only). The beach itself is small, surrounded by many hotels, so there is a crowd of people both on the beach and in the water, which is not that clean at all. Close parking and showers available in the restaurant 50m from the beach (kids can eat here, but the restaurant is expensive and food untasty, not recommended).

About a 15 minute walk from our hotel…lovely beach, crystal clear sea…only spent a morning on here as it got too crowded for our liking. Pre covid we would have been fine but still apprehensive about people getting too close. Definitely recommend

The beach is beautiful, the waters are crystal clear. The only problem is where the waves break with the sand there is lots of plastic. Which is a shame. Also you can see the pollution from sunscreen. You’re able to cliff jump and snorkel. No current and little waves do very safe for children. Also the beach is quite small so I would say arrive a little earlier to get a place, especially now due to Covid.

We stayed nearby and popped down to the beach and the sea. It was busy but very clean. Two nice beach bars. We came down late one day and sat there until the stars came out as the beach emptied. Fab location.

This is really an idyllic picture-perfect little bay with almost surreal crystalline turquoise waters and framed perfectly by pines. However, personally don’t like busy beaches, so was happy to sit in the shade of the trees and enjoy the cool(ish) sea-breezes whilst watching the boats coming & going , and people diving off the rocks into the sea. Went one evening for a bit of quiet - but be warned , we got surrounded instead by clouds of hungry mosquitoes 🦟 - so made a very hasty exit.

I was excited to come here but there is this vertical stairs down to this crowded beach. I really did not like this crowded beach.

Small beach with a lot of people up in June when I was there. The water is clean and I think you can hire sun beds but I didn’t ask about that.

We did day trip to Esmeralda and managed to get one of the umbrellas and loungers available for hire (12 euros for the day). Lots more people just took their own umbrellas to the "public" part of the beach. It is a small beach but was clean. It's overlooked by a hotel/apartment blocks but there is also cafes so easy to get food & drinks during the day plus can access the bathrooms! There is a local guy who comes round a few times during the day selling fresh fruit (watermelon, pineapple etc) from a wheel barrow. The kids found him entertaining.

This stop in our three week vacation was supposed to be the final jewel in our crown. The website boasted of it's luxuriousness, service, and location. First things first, be aware that it is an hour drive away from the airport. And that's if you take private transport (very costly). We took a chartered bus, so it took almost two hours to get to our hotel. Once at our hotel, we were deposited on a sidewalk and told to 'go down hill' to check in. So we drag our four suitcases (one per person), down a long hill and finally find reception. Not enough signs at all in this resort!! Check in, and told we have to go back UP THE HILL to get to our room. No offer for baggage assistance. Which would have been very appreciated as we were put on the third floor, in a building with no elevators. You don't want to know what kind of language came out of my mouth as I had to try and drag my suitcase up three flights of stairs....
Anyway, get to room. And it's HOT. AC is not on, and room is stifling. They know we're coming. It's 95 degrees outside. Could they not have turned it on for us?? So, we drop luggage, turn on AC, and leave very mediocre room to find someplace to get a drink while room gets cooled down.
I was traveling with my husband and two teenage sons. The resort is pretty. The pools and beach are nice-albeit small and very crowded. There are lots of activities and shows if you like to have those available. The food wasn't bad when you could get it. Very strict hours on when you can and can't eat. For instance... It's 9am; I'm down in the reception/restaurant area of hotel. All I want is a cup of coffee. Just coffee. Can I get that? Hotel response, 'You can purchase breakfast buffet (12 euro), and get coffee upstairs." My question, "Can I just get a coffee?" They reply, "That's not possible, but if you come back at 11 the bar can give you coffee." What??? I can't get a cup of coffee unless I purchase an entire breakfast. I'm sorry--if I'm paying over a thousand dollars for three nights at this resort, it should be really easy to say 'yes' to me, instead of 'no' and 'it's not possible'. Staff and hotel need to be more accommodating to their guests... Would not stay here again, nor would I recommend to friends. Pictures are not always worth a thousand bucks...

Do not let the charming photos deceive you. This place is overrun. Just too many people. I dubbed it "screaming child beach" on Facebook.
