This is a very beautiful walk with plenty of foliage and wildlife, be prepared to do a log of walking and note there is not cafe on site (although I believe you could get a drink from the little shop where you get your free ticket (information leaflet) We went early and there was very few other people about, although... Had some great views of nightingales singing their hearts out in the reserve. An interesting place to visit if you enjoy looking out for birds and are prepared to spend time in the hides being patient - which for us was rewarded with some good sightings. Pleasant walking but the walk in doesn't have much shade - so be prepared.

very well maintained reserve. Free entry - just need to register size of group at reception. No general parking so keeps area quiet and safe, paths and hides well laid out and overlook lots of different areas of wetland. Long path around full site or shorter over lapping paths, all flat. Suitable for all age groups but respect need to... More

Seems beautiful but didn't get far with a toddler; I read some online information that said you could hire bikes at the main entrance - by the time we got to the first information point (about 1000m along the park path) we were told the bike hire place has closed down. The park is too much for a toddler to... More

Beautiful and serene place but I would recommend it mostly for people who like 'slow' entertainment. Probably not the most interesting place for smaller kids

A beautiful patch of unspoiled nature. If you want it quiet, take the long route, there's usually not many visitors there. The information center is usually crowded and there's lots of noise from the many families there. Don't expect to see too many birds though because the area is very large and you really need patience to spot a rare... More

This large nature reserve is a must to visit if you like wildlife. Many lagoons with well placed hides enable close up views of large variety of birds. Many are quite rare, including (as we saw) little bittern, Kentish plover, little egret and purple gallinule, just to name a few. Easy walking on well kept paths.

The park is very welcoming and beautiful. It is an amazing spot in the very touristy Platja Muro. We didn't expect such a beautiful park with bird sightings and the like to be situated in a place that is generally filled with hotels and beachguests. If you want to see a bit of nature, and get away from the crowdy... More

Nature and Wildlife, not many things are nicer to discower, a paradise for ornithologues, for bird's lovers, to discover many other things, to relax in the nature is wonderful; for ornitologues it's better to visit early in the morning about 6.00 or late in the day; - the birds concerts is for me really magic- , sometimes I open my...
