Cala Agulla is a beautiful beach with crystal-clear water and almost white sand. In the background, there are pine trees spreading shadow and their wonderful smell. Around noon, the beach is likely to become very crowded, which however is not surprising considering its beauty.
To anyone who likes walking I highly recommend taking the tour through the woods to Cala Mesquida. You will come along a smaller beach, have a fantastic view on Mesquida and maybe even come across some animals within the nature reserve.

Great decent size beach with all amenities (beach bars, lounge chairs…). One thing to highlight is that it cost 6 euros to park there and you can only pay in cash. We had to drive in town to find an atm (and got charged 7€ fee for the withdrawal)

This was our favorite beach and not at all crowded in May 2021. You pay 5 Euros for parking and then walk through a shaded tree area to get to the beach. Once at the beach walk to the left and you will notice that where the water meets the shore, the sand is pink! There is a lifeguard here and I think it had bathrooms near the parking area. The water is so clear and various shades of blue. There are no waves here, you can walk out a long distance into the water. It was my favorite beach because of the pink sand, clear blue water and lack of people. There were a few vendors walking around on the beach but they didn't talk to you unless you make eye contact, then they think you are interested. A few of the women were topless in and out of the water.

Entry to parking here costs $6 per car. Once they had covered parking, but the covers have long since disappeared, so I fail to see the value your get for such a high parking fee. You walk through a shady pine tree area, but they do not allow you to leave the path. They have toilets in this shaded area but you must tip the cleaning ladies. Then you have a long walk toward the water, turn left and try to find a bare spot on the very crowded beach. Hawkers try to sell you beach wraps. The whole experience left a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t go here again.

We drove from Portal Nous, a good 60km, just over an hours drive.
Parking is efficient and easy ( 6 euro) a short walk to a stunning sandy beach, water is perfection, think Caribbean / Bahamas!
2 beach chairs and a parasol 15 euro.
Food offering is basic but ok, a warm fresh baguette with cheese/ ham / tuna - fries and a good selection of beers / soft drinks are on offer. Personally I would bring a gourmet picnic next time!
Beach does get crowded but we seemed to be at the quieter end which was good.

If you want a stunning beach this is it!

Very beautiful beach being damaged by lots of young drunken tourists who throw rubbish around, smoke weed, listen to loud music, be have nasty. Unpleasant experience, especially taking I to account it is a protected area.
Otherwise, the beach is very beautiful.

Awesome beach within walking distance from the city centre. There are two small beach bars and a resto (maybe two but since it was still pandemic times maybe some were closed). Safe beach too, full of Germans as all of the island so party atmosphere after sunset is no Spanish at all, it is quite German so you better be OK with it. (Too much of a targeted marketing strategy in my view but it seems to work haha!). Also clean, nice sand, not too many people selling stuff around so you can even take a nice nap under the sun or read a book undisturbed! Oh I miss it already!!!

I cannot recall having seen this many people at a beach. Forget about keeping COVID distance. We had bought beach chairs with shade/parasols, but no matte people just invaded your privacy. It was not bumper to bumper, but beach towel to beach towel. Dont consider going between 11am and 5pm

But - a fantastic beach. In the morning.

Cala Agulla is a very nice clean beach. There are three parts as you see it from the top: the first part has some rocks and gets full of people so I wouldnt recommend it. The middle part is better than the first but the sea inside is not very clear (there are plants etc). It also gets busy. The best part is at the end of the beach but then you need to walk more. In general you can choose to pay 15,8 euros for an umbrella and two chairs (for the whole day) or choose to sit anywhere you want but then you need to bring your own equipment. There is a restaurant that has one toilet (not that good) since there are so many people at the beach) and some coffee bars that offer a small variety of soft drinks , beers, coffee and snacks. I would suggest that you bring your own food and drinks and your own equipment. The best time to go is early in the morning but not after 11:30 (then its super busy). For parking it is challenging to find a spot.

The beach is by far the biggest in the area. Lovely sandy beach with crystal clear water. The only thing is the ' Lucky lucky men and women '. You do get hassled a bit more on this beach compared to others
