Would give a 0.5, but there wasn't the option. A bit of a novel, but it has lots of twists and turns - you'll see 😃 There were 2 of us (Scotland/UK citizens - this is relevant for later) booked to go paddleboarding (for the first time) in the afternoon and were with 3 other UK citizens, as well. The guide was named Miguel who drove us erratically to another beach because the wind was strong. We had a 5 minute lesson on land and the 2 of us were split up, without explanation, and were told to "just go". The guide then disappeared for half an hour, so the group dispersed in the water, staying close to the yellow buoys, as the guide said. When he appeared, we paddled towards him and the 2 of us - who happen to be female - were last to arrive. One of us - Client A - had pain in the shoulder, which made them slower to catch up. Miguel paddled up, shouting and then screaming, "Are you a little girl?! Get up! Get up and paddle! You are wasting time! What the f*** are you doing?" He then proceeded to shout further, even when Client A explained the issue. They had to keep saying, "Listen. Please don't speak like that. Can you stop shouting, please? Stop swearing, please". They also explained the pain in the shoulder and the guide's response was to grab Client A's arm and shoulder (WITHOUT CONSENT) and pull and push it. He never mentioned any qualifications in physiotherapy and his efforts made it clear he didn't have any, as they made the shoulder issue worse. He then paddled off, still shouting and screaming, trying to get back to the group to tell them Client A was being unreasonable and slow. Client B witnessed this. When Client A joined the group a few minutes later, both A & B tried to speak to Miguel. They both work in high-pressure situations and have extensive experience in dealing with conflict, but the guide was not listening and kept saying about how we shouldn't have been where we were (we looked for him the entire time, but he wasn't there), how his manner is because he's Spanish and UK/4 Nations people are, "weak and do not deal with confrontation and want to be nicey-nicey all the time" (a huge insult to both the people of Spain AND the 4 Nations), and how Clients A and B can "go back and come on a boat trip and take nice Instagram pictures" another time. Neither of us are Instagrammers. We decided to leave and be picked up by the girls at Sea Safari, and were both very shocked by what we'd witnessed and experienced. The girls who picked us up could see this and understood completely when we explained how Miguel had been aggressive and very disturbing. They nodded and, to be honest, seemed unsurprised and expectant of what we said, but they also told us that there was little they could do, as he is their boss. They then drove us back and said we could take the boards out any other time. As time went by, we realised we A) Were not likely to have the time to take the boards out again, and B) We, understandably, did not want to have to encounter Miguel again. We did not get the service we paid for, quite the opposite, so we contacted them via WhatsApp and email to ask for a partial refund (recognising how helpful the other instructors were, especially when they came to get us). The email was ignored, but the WhatsApp was replied to, we believe by Miguel - through the rudeness and tone, and the repeated belief that the tour was cut short because we had been in the wrong place, rather than because he behaved in a completely unnerving way, meaning we no longer trusted him, which is key for an activity like this. We have attached this exchange as an image in the review's original form. We did visit the company again to ask for a refund, but one of the girls who picked us up on the day of the incident told us that refunds are up to the owner. And the owner is...(you guessed it)...Miguel. We have been advised to continue with the refund request - as we are actually entitled to a full one, as the service was completely below standard - and to report the issue further, as there is a breach of civil rights. We outlined this in full for this review, so that others can get the full story - before, during, after - and so that no-one else has to deal with it. We urge everyone to ask for one of the other guides, as Miguel still refuses to 1) Give us a refund, because 2) It will mean he has to take responsibility and acknowledge the huge consequences of his actions. Everyone should have a great experience doing this activity on a holiday that is meant for relaxing and de-stressing, especially after the past 2 years. No-one should have to deal with a toddler-like guide - especially with water-based activities, like this - and have to suffer from their peculiar and harmful behaviour. Hope whoever sees this has a great holiday 😃

I've never done Stand Up Paddle Boarding, but this experience has made me want to do it again! Miguel the guide we had was extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. Hola, Miguel !! 🤗 Anyone that is considering SUP in Mallorca I cannot recommend this experience enough!    This tour is a must do in Mallorca. You go paddle boarding along the shore, doing snoekeling and cliff jumping visiting  fascinating caves. Beautiful day, blue sea and fun activity for my wife and myself. You got snacks and drinks. I fully recommend the tour. Thank you for the awesome time and all the memories Miguel. Date of experience: July 2022 Name of the great guy guiding us: Miguel Sea Safari Mallorca.

Review of: Sea and Land
We had booked the experience online and it was absolutely worth it! Miguel was a fantastic guide with amazing energy! We paddle boarded for 4 hours, snorkeled and jumped off of cliffs which was so much fun, afterwards we received complementary drinks and snacks. When we left we headed straight back to our hotel for a “Siesta” with a fantastic experience richer and we would definitely return and do it again! I would definitely suggest everyone to do this, you won’t regret it!

We had a great time with Miguel & Tamara, thanks for making it a fun day out SUP! Make sure you book online and use WhatsApp for quick responses to any questions. Once we arrived at Sea Safari Base it quickly felt like we’re old friends heading out on an adventure. They made sure we headed out when the weather was perfect and took us to a great view point on the way to the beach. The water was turquoise and clear, you can see the ocean floor as you paddle. We made plenty of stops and got amazing views of small islands, caves, cliffs and buildings along the coastline. Also a nice touch to have a beer afterwards and relax! We’ll definitely do this if we return in the future.
