- René GSt. Gallen, Switzerland359 contributionsBeautiful beach with light, fine sandThe beach in Cala Millor is one of the most beautiful in Mallorca. The sand is fine and light, the shore slopes gently so that you can walk far out into the sea. This is also important for children. In spring there are very few visitors and you can use the large beach undisturbed. Behind the beach promenade there are of course many hotels and shopping streets. If you don't want to walk far, you'll find everything close together here. The hotels and restaurants here are also recommended and offer good value for money.Visited April 2024Traveled with friendsWritten April 25, 2024

Lovely sandy beach, well maintained with life guards around. Suitable for the family all ages with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants along the promenade. Perhaps could do with a few more public toilets easily accessed from the sea.Visited May 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten May 15, 2024

Enjoyed a couple of days here with friends and family. Would highly recommend taking a trip hereVisited May 2024Traveled with familyWritten May 18, 2024
- Mara8 contributionsALL PERFECTWhite sandy beach, clean, equipped with rental umbrellas for 14 € (just take a seat and an hour pass for payment), crystal clear sea, and not too crowded to be the month of August! Behind the beach you have the pedestrian promenade for cycles and pedestrians, bars restaurants and supermarkets. Great for a perfect holiday!Visited August 2024Traveled as a coupleWritten August 8, 2024
- Jet81425625 contributionsClean, soft sand beachWe spent a lot of time at the beach during our holiday in Cala Millor. It's a lovely beach, soft sand, clean and plenty of sun loungers to hire if you want them. It's a little rocking in places but move further down and you won't find it a problem. It's close to the shops, bars and restaurants so handy to spend a lot of time there. We didn't hire any loungers/umbrellas but they were 14 euros to hire (for x2 loungers, x1 umbrella and safe). Loved walking on the beach early morning when it was quiet.Visited August 2024Traveled with familyWritten September 1, 2024

Beach is very clean, not too crowded, not too many beach chairs (probably COVID restriction). Sand is clean, and water is pristine and very warm! If you like snorkeling you will find lots of fish next to the rocks.
Beware of the people who sell fruit, they will approach you by giving you a small sample of their watermelon or whatever and then pressure you into buying their slice at 9€.
Also keep in mind that the beach beds and umbrellas and little safe are not free. two beach beds + umbrella + safe will cost you 14€. A guy with a blue shirt (employed by the municipality) will come over at some point and collect money from people who use these. We left real quick when we saw him passing by beacuse there was no way I would have paid 14€ for an hour at the beach 👀

Beautiful turquoise sea (after it cleared up from a storm). It was pretty warm. There are quite a lot of rocks in the sea, but they are not sharp and you can see where areas are clear of rocks as there will be more people in the sea.
It was exceptionally clean and not too many looky lookys interupting you. 2 sunbeds and a parasol (with secure safe) was 14 euros for the day (and you could come and go)

Perfect place to take both the kids and parents together. This beach is kept clean, beautiful clear sea. Available sunbeds. Public loo's within reach. Play parks for kids dotted along the seafront every so often. My only complaint is that in some areas it really smells of egg!

We visited Calla Millor/ Bona in late october which by then, to be honest it wasn’t much of a beach. They clearly do some form of beach natural defence/ replenishment in low season causing sand to be dirty, thick and not enjoyable. The sea is calm on most occasions however I recommend going especially when the sun is fully shining and the sea is beautifully blue.

Must be the time of year, but there are literally mountains of seaweed everywhere, and to get into the sea you are wading through it - I know it is a natural product but I’ve been to other beaches in Spain where the councils have actively cleared it. Add to this the lack of cleaning along the beach, cigarette butts everywhere, again been to beaches where the sunbed teams are constantly clearing and taking a pride in their areas - will not be returning to this part of Majorca - Cala Bona is just as bad. Very disappointed

Lovely clean beach and promenade, but watch out for motorised scooters and trikes.
The sea is warm, there are plenty of shops and cafes, and hotels overlooking the turquoise warm sea. Visited in June and the weather was exceptionally hot hot hot for the time of year.

Gorgeous beach with lovey facilities. Lots of sun beds and parasols priced at €14 for 2 sun beds and one parasol. Lovely clean beach with the most beautiful coloured sea.
DO NOT BUY FROM THE FRUIT SELLERS. One lady gave us a free sample. After her ignoring us when we asked how much, she cut 2 slices of watermelon when we asked for one and charged us €9. We challenged her but she wasn’t having any of it and became very rude and aggressive.

First of all, my God, never in my life have I seen such a dirty beach. You have to pay 14 euro for the sun-beds but no one has ever cleaned that beach. It’s full of rubbish, cigarette butts, tampons!!!!, condom packs!!!!. We couldn’t let our 1 year child play with the sand, because he takes everything into his mouth.
But the worst thing was, that we complained to the guy Alioune, who collects money for the sun-beds and umbrellas, and he started yelling at us, really shouting so loud that our baby started crying. It’s unacceptable and I have never come across such an aggressive behavior from smn who works with people/tourists. How can you allow such people to work in public places?! People who can’t talk and can’t find a reasonable explanations to the problem but just behave aggressively? This situation really spoiled our vacation! Never will I be back to Majorca!

Very busy area. Parking is an issue and if you don't like big crowds this is not the beach for you. Beautiful but all things considered I recommend beaches along the coast to Alcudia if you like a bit less people around.

The beach is not what it used to be. I compared pictures of friends from 2018 with the current beach and I am speechless. After a flood here, most of the sand was washed away. The beach used to be wide and covered with fine sand. Now sharp stones and smooth rocks are sticking out. Access to the water is difficult and dangerous. In addition, the algae are probably piled up in mountains, often with all kinds of rubbish.

Come è cala millor la sera? Ci sono pub/ristoranti/locali?
Written April 4, 2023
Ciao! La mia zona preferita di Mallorca è cala millor è ben fornita di locali e ristoranti per non parlare di tutti i bar nel lungomare pedonale che ti porta fino a cala bona! Stupenda!

How much are the sun beds and parasols to rent for the day on the beach please.
Written June 28, 2022
I am unsure as when I travelled in May they were free however there weren`t enough to go around and you had to be there by 8am to get one.

Hi , please tell me when the sunbeds/sunshades are being put on the beach please , thank you.

I am due to travel to Cala Millor begining of September 2020, just wondering if anyone has been there recently and can say what it is like there at moment while the covid pandemic is on, thank you
Written August 9, 2020
I was there in late February, right before the lockdown. I think that Majorca in general is fairly safe during this pandemic, and I would think that all hotels take precautions to keep tourists safe and healthy.

can anyone tell me how long it would take to walk along the prom from Cala BOna (staying at Bonaire Protur) to the beach at Cala Millor? Many thanks (also is it a flat pretty beachfront prom all the way?)
Written October 1, 2019
The walk is for about 20-30 minutes when a person has stopped at a shop or cafe for so long 😊

I'm in Cala Millor from next Tuesday(25th June for 8 days holiday. I have a couple of questions regarding sunbeds on the beach. I'm a solo traveller, so is it possible to hire just the one sunbed & parasol for the day (I ask this because the sunbeds are usually in pairs). Secondly, are there lockers available on the beach?
My final question is, is it ok to leave the sunbed for lunch at one of the beachfront restaurants? I'm presuming once you've paid, you get a ticket which serves as proof? Is it normal etiquette to leave your beach towel on the sunbed whilst going for lunch/walk/swim?
Thanks in advance. Cant wait to be in the sun!
