€10 per hour. Cool That’s fine. Then what do you do with the bike or cash?! If the bike had a cash box or the cash box had a code....

Rented a 4 seater bike from here to pedal along the seafront. 14 euros for 1 hour and 22 for 2 hours. The 2 hour rate was much cheaper than elsewhere. Guy running it was friendly and helpful.

Doable Amsterdam itinerary? (25 Replies)
My husband and I will be staying in Haarlem, Netherlands in April (mostly traveling into Amsterdam) and I'm wondering if this TENTATIVE itinerary is doable. I've *stared* some things I still need recommendations on as well. I'm not completely sure what to do on DAY 4 so suggestions would help there as well. I also think I have some extra time floating in this schedule that I could add some things, but also not entirely sure what is a must do either or where to add things in. DAY 1: ...More

Bloemenmarkt will take about ten minutes. I know it's promoted as this fabulous floating flower market, but really, all you will see is a string of stalls all selling about the same thing. The flowers will be beautiful, but I don't think it's worth more than 30 minutes max. The Ice Bar is a massive rip-off. Instead find a pub away from the main streets/squares, and enjoy a drink among local residents. If you're not big on museums, skip them unless you love art. If you like modern art, go...More

Bike Hire with trailer for children (2 Replies)
Hi, Does anyone know if Electro Rent a Bike in Playa Blanca has the pull along trailers available for hire? They have a picture of one on their website, but no price quoted. Also, do you know if they would deliver to the Flamongo Beach resort? Thanks

Bike from zurich to or from Geneva (14 Replies)
Hi My wife and I are hoping to take a trip from Zurich or Geneva to Zurich or Geneva. We are avid bikers and tour alot in the Midwest USA. We are in good shape and in our mid 50's. We will probably be going the last week of August to the end of the 2nd week in September 2011. We have been reading with interest about the practicality of using the Rent a bike from the National railroad. I understand you can rent it and return at a different train station. We will probably ride a combo...More

Hi Muskoxen, wow, you've already done so much research and are already so knowledgeable about the cycling routes and rentals, I'm not sure I can add anything worthwhile. First, I want to ask if you plan to keep one bike for the entire trip, renting in Geneva and returning in Zürich? Or do you plan to rent a bike for two or three days, say from Geneva to Gstaad, then rent again for Gstaad to Thun, etc? I will say that I've rented bikes a few times in a few locations throughout...More
