The course itself is interesting however they are clearly trying to get as many people through the door as possible. The end result is poor greens and tees, also not enough buggies (essential as very up and down). Our buggy ran out of battery after 12 holes probably due to them not having enough and not charging for long enough.... More

We a group of 12 mature golfers of an experienced golf society turned up to play La Cala in September 2016, having had it booked through a reputable golf travel company. Upon arrival we were told we would have to wait for our buggies to come in, which was not a bgi issue. Whilst we were awaiting buggies we were... More

Service in the clubhouse was between slow and non existent both before and after we played. We were on the Americana course and the greens were very poor, when we complained we were moved to the Asia course for the second nine, we were told that Asia and Europa were in top condition. If that was the case why were... More

Played La Cala Europa as part of large group. Really enjoyed the course. Generous fairways but just play to where you can see. Greens nice but not quick. One drawback was that buggies were not available until 30 mins before tee time and as practice ground was 1.5 km away that meant we could not use it. First tee on... More

Fantastic courses with stunning views and a real challenge especially Europa. Greens were slow due to lack of rain over summer Problem is the service you get before you get onto course. You turn up to get your buggy only to be told to come back 10 mins before tee off time. This happened on both days we played.

This is a massive complex with 3 different courses and we played the Europa which is about a 5 minute buggy drive from the club house. it has some really challenging holes and some great views and both low and high handicappers will get something from it. There are a couple of long carries, lots of bunkers and the greens... More

We played these courses at the same time last year and the differences where plain to see. We played America on the 1st day and this was definitely the worst. Uneven tee boxes, it seemed that they were not rotated. Random parts of the course and fairways where sodden with water. Other parts had ground dug up and left. No... More
