Lovely place at the entrance road up to the main square in Mojacar pueblo…right opposite the bus stop.
One of the few places open on a cool December night and with a lovely gas fire outside to keep us warm…so we stayed for several drinks..the views from the small terrace are AMAZING….blue sea in the distance by day and masses of twinkling lights from the towns & villages at night…It’s very romantic!!
We didn’t eat but the tapas menu looks good…we will go back as the owner/manager was so kind and friendly

A great people watching bar and lovely to sit in the sun on the terrace. The staff are extremely friendly and delightful. This was the first bar I visited many years ago, and still do so almost daily, meeting friends.

The location is stunning. The bar has loads of character and charming staff. We enjoyed good coffees and simple but tasty tapas. Would have sampled the beers and sangria if hadn't been driving. Inexpensive and quite difficult to spend more than €10. Great place to spend an hour or so.

2 small beer 2 tiny tapas
Half an egg and 6 very thinly slices of chorizo
8 euros 60.
Staff did not respond to my queering the amount.
So be aware if you look like a tourist, even though we have owned our own property on the player for 12 years.just being for drink and tapas next to church 4 euros.
So I don't feel I am unjust to make comments.

Lovely little cafe in the old part of Mojacar. Tea and scones were delicious. Large cups, loved the decor and the ambiance of the cafe inside

Stopped here at the end of the night, totally by chance. It then turned out we also had no ride home, so a couple of drinks later and a chat to the very helpful waitress and we did have a ride home. Sorry but we didn't get your name in the end, just wanted to say what a wonderful place to sit and watch the world go by. Next time we will make sure we get there earlier and sample some of your wonderful tapas.

Now being run by Richard and Violets from the excellent Candela restaurant. This is a vastly improved place. Modern decor with a lovely quiet lounge area and imaginative tapas. Well worth seeking out.

Back in the day, this was one of the must be seen in bars. It's thankfully quieter these days and more relaxed. It's small, has good music, approachable staff cold beer and a good range of liqueur. Still opportunity to rub shoulders with the old guard who seem to meet here off coffee in the morning, later in the day, the bar attracts younger crowd.
