Today we decided to try some highly recommended 40 year old Port at this great winery. We were warmly welcomed by Jorge, who proceeded to take us to the Port tasting. Jorge was an excellent host and helped us decide which Port we wanted. Jorge was very knowledgeable and took his time showing us around and letting us taste the wine. I highly recommend this awesome place and be sure to ask for Jorge is you want a great experience.

Jorgito allowed us into hos domain and plied us with several ports, all free of charge. we didn't have time for a tour, but will be back to enjoy his hospitality when in the city next time. Free shipping is offered for 12 bottles [a case] which was easy as a our party ordered a few each.

We spent our first afternoon in Portugal with Jorge who was extremely knowledgable and passionate about the port making process and history. The facility was easy to tour and the Port sampling was generous and delicious. We brought Port home for family and friends. Prior to our trip, we made a reservation to tour the winery and would recommend doing that. Will definitely return on our next trip.

Very nice tour by enthusiastic and knowledgeable Jorge. He explains the history of making Port wines very clearly whilst walking by the typical port wine barrels. The tasting, in the comfortable ‘tasting room’ upstairs, was a good ending to this nice experience, that we can certainly recommend. We look forward to enjoying the bottle we brought back with us. Thank you Jorge👍🏻

We had a great afternoon at Vasconcellos! Jorge was very welcoming and told us passionately about their port. He was very informative. He was not pushing us to buy anything, however, after tasting the port we definitely wanted to take some home. The tour was private and we did not have to pre-book it. The tour, including three small glasses of port to taste, costs ten euros, however, if you buy a bottle of port it’s free. Definitely recommend this tour and port tasting.
