Great port tasting in a beautiful city!

We visited Porto Cruz whilst in Porto for just 2 days and experienced a great port tasting session paired with chocolate. We sat outside with a great view of the river and bridge. The service was faultless by Rafael and he gave us an in-depth history of each port we tried. He was very professional and made our experience very seamless.

Great wine tasting and boat tour experience!

Amazing experience with great service by Rafael. First time trying 4 different kind of Port wine; Rafael was very profesional and answered all of our questions. Porto cruz also has the option of the boat tour on the Douro river with a recorded tourist guide in 5 different lenguaje. If you visit Porto do yourself a favor and try Porto Cruz!!

Great visit to the roof terrace
Great view, super service on the roof top, especially my compliments to the girl with read hair, she was very attentive. My recommendation would be to keep the roof terrace separate from the rest of the general reviews. I think the reviews on trip advisor would be much higher and bigger numbers for just the roof terrace.

Don’t do this as part of a join boat trip/port tasting

We went here as part of a trip we purchased which combined a boat trip and a port tasting. This isn’t Porto Cruz’s fault but they should not allow themselves to be associated with this package as the port tasting was just a sip of one port which when we expected a ‘tasting’ was really disappointing as most of the port houses provide a free tasting of multiple ports. We asked if we could upgrade and we couldn’t and well we felt pretty duped so just left.

Great experience in the restaurant. It was gpod we had reserved a table, because people were waiting in queue to come inside. The food was amazing and also the service. Not the cheapest, but it was worth it. In the end we had a drink on the rooftop terrace.

Fantastic experience. Too bad we had rain. Our guide Vasco was excellent , helpful and friendly.
We choose the chocolate pairing not because of the price but we just had lunch . This was a perfect dessert.
Also the reception was great: very friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed a nice afternoon on the rooftop terrace. The food quality was very good, and so was the port wine pairing recommendation for the desserts. The service including advice and tips for Porto was superb, done by a young and motivated team.

We did like 5 different tastings in this place. You deffenitly need to ask for Vasco to present the tastings. Give him a little tip and you will be the King of the day! You will get a lot af extras and he will tell you everything with so much passion and he knows so much about all the different port wines. Good vibes and excellent port wines to tast or buy! A real good choice to spend the day over here!

The most memorable evening in Porto!

What an evening at the roof-top bar! The waiter had profound knowledge about port wine, not only about the house brand, porto cruz, but also about other brands, differences of the wine-making processes and aging. The recommendations were terrific and the courtesy was commendable!

Não organizei mas fui a um evento lá e os empregados foram super antipáticos, a comida não era nada de especial! não aconselho a organização falhou muito e não é barato.
