We visited on a Friday afternoon in late April. Two of us each ordered a flight, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive five full glasses of wine in each flight for about 20-25 euros each. Not only does Ramos Pinto have terrific ports, but also it also offers top notch Duoro Valley reds and whites. The staff is friendly... More

We came to try the Ports and got the intermediate package. Decent value considering you get 5 full glasses of port of various classes. We got the cheese platter as well which was lovely. Would have been nice to have been provided a bit more information on each port, other than a brief intro. That said it was an enjoying... More

A thoroughly enjoyable tour. Our guide was lovely, very knowledgable and passionate (Monica?) We were recommended this place by our walking tour guide and it certainly didn't disappoint. Good value at about €6 each with some wonderful tasters at the end. If you're considering a port wine tour then look no further!

Situated on the pier of Ribeira de Gaia, the winery Casa Ramos Pinto is one of the most prestigious and oldest companies of the Port and Douro wines. Visit the winery and the Museum allows us to make a trip to old environments, images, objects and centuries past memories. Take a tour of this company and its old cellars with... More

We got the beginner and intermediate tastings and the portions were huge and extremely affordable. The staff is very friendly and speak multiple languages. The tours in the afternoon are in the language of the first people that book the tour so if you get there around 11am for a tasting, you can book the tour in the language you... More

We spent an afternoon visiting four different port houses and in our opinion this one was the best especially in terms of value and the different tasting options that are available - then once you finished you come straight out onto the river front for some beautiful views

We didn't do a tour but just a tasting here. They have various tasting flights that you can share and the one we had offered some really nice ports. It's not cheap, but nor are they ripping you off - the tasting price appears to just be based on the pro-rata bottle price of the wines. Having tried a could... More

Short guided tour of the property, very informative about the business of producing port, no hard sell during tastings.

We went to Graham's and Augusto the day before and wanted to like Augusto because it was smaller privately own, but the tasting and your was not great. Our apartment rental guy recommended RP and said it was his favourite value for money (RP10) and he was right! We didn't have time for the tour but did a five flight... More
