Cheryl and I went on the guided tour of Calem Port Wine lodges on our recent trip to Porto and found the experience to be very interesting. Because we are impatient, we signed up for the Spanish language tour, which was a bit of a...More
We paid the extra for the premium tour which was well worth it. We toured the warehouse with our guide Marta, who was very knowledgable and an asset to the company. We then finished off with a tasting of three very good ports, it’s well...More

I think it is worth doing. I think we were in the building for about 90 minutes. There’s an interactive educational area before you go in for the tour and there were young children in thee who seemed entertained. There are buttons to press, lights come on etc. I’m not sure they appreciated what the lights meant, but they were entertained!
