The entire group enjoyed our port tasting experience (except the 15 year old), It was really good of them to give us two glasses before the tour even started, I think the tour may have been less exciting without it. The port was lovely and we bought several bottles from their shop as it was very reasonably priced.

We had an excellent time here. We arrived 10minutes late and they started the tour without us so we were bummed at first, but then the tour guide came and apologized profusely for doing so and offered us a personalized tour for our group of 10! It was amazing and he was amazing ( don't remember his name but he... More

This Port house option was picked as part of a tour so hard to compare. The tasting and tour was €12 including 3 ports. The tour itself is informative if not a little dull. Beware small uphill walk to get to this one but nice view from terrace.

Can highly recommend a guided tour trough the cellars of Croft's. For only 5€ you get some history about Croft's and you get to try 3 Portwines. As I am German I am not a huge wine fan but I really enjoyed the tour and the wines. The staff is extremely knowledgable and lovely!

I went to Croft's in mid March and joined the celler tour. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and informative, expressed details of the wine production and history of the house. I did not know that the house belongs to the same group as Taylor and Fonceca, and actually the oldest one among those three (and may be among all... More

It's a struggle to find but very worth it! We tasted three different ports with matching chocolates. The sommelier talked us through the pairings and we really enjoyed the experience. The rose port was our favourite and the chocolates were of great quality.

Had a good time here tasting different ports and getting to know the history of Croft port. The prices are very reasonable and I would recommend this to anyone.

There is no hard sell and the focus is on the port. The short tour of the cellar is informative and it was nice to sample 3 of the different types of port available. The bottles on sale are nicely priced.

It's a charming wine cellar a bit hidden, between the old streets near the Ribeira in Vila Nova de Gaia. The prices are very good, and also the wines, we tried three kinds; and the prices of bottles for take away are very good as well. Local people recommended us to go to this wine tasting cause is not so turistic... More

What a fabulous evening it was! The staff was welconing from the moment we entered the place! We tasted three diffrent kinds of port: pink, ruby and tawny. The tour itself was led by an amazing man who made sure that we were informed about all the details of porto production. Fantastic atmosphere, great price (€5), memorable experience. Highly recommended!
