A lush spot in the middle of the city...you will enjoy walking around the garden. I have not gone during the summer time, but during the fall it is very pleasant.

We went there yesterday, it was fabulous. Great place for all ages! Def a must see at night! I believe there is a cap on how many people will be allowed in the gardens at once so it wasn't too crowded at all.

Lantern Asia is a special exhibit that will only be here until the first week in May. It is a whimsical walk through lighted sculptures that reflect the beauty of Asia. Try to get there at dusk so you can see it in the light...More

Beautiful, even in April with the azaleas blooming and fountains. The Chinese lanterns were beautiful, can't imagine how they would light up at night. Nice to have a tram to take you around the garden.

Went to LanternAsia 2016 last Saturday. This is a fascinating outdoor display of very large lighted Asian figures: dragons, buildings, animals, figures, etc. It is expensive ($20) but well worth it. The way to do this to go mid afternoon and enjoy the regular gardens...More

We found the azaleas to be gorgeous but were told to come back later when so much more would be in bloom. So we are planning annual trips at different times of the year. So much to see. Roses, crape myrtles, fountains, canal, lakes and...More

Lantern Asia only runs to end of April, but if there's an opportunity to visit before the display leaves, do it and do it in the evening! Buy tickets on-line to avoid the line at the gardens.

Yes, there is still lots to see even though it's not peak season. Right now the roses are in full bloom, but there's always something wonderful in the gardens, no matter the season. Hope this helps.
