I love visiting baseball stadiums. The exterior is beautiful, the baseball is fine, and the field is nice. I just don't enjoy the interior of the stadium as many minor league parks are of much higher quality.

This was the last stamp we needed in our Orioles Passport. This was a nice stadium. If there was a complaint I would say the score boards seemed to be in the wrong place. There was two boards the one in the center where you...More

Harbor Park is a little gem of a ballpark located on the Elizabeth River, adjacent to downtown Norfolk, VA. It’s a lovely venue for a summer evening’s entertainment. For starters, it’s inexpensive at about $12 per ticket for a nice view of the action. Parking...More

I've been going to Harbor Park since it opened. The stadium is twenty years old and is still great (though there are nicer, newer minor league stadiums...I still prefer Harbor Park. It's view of the water is great). I wish Harbor Park had better and...More

This is a good opportunity to see the future Baltimore Orioles, as well as some players who have made the show at one time or another. Its your normal ballpark, nothing too special there, but the atmosphere is electric. Went with a company picnic in...More

Fun night out watching minor league baseball. Plenty of choices of food. We chose the restaurant Hits. It was an all you can eat buffet. We were seated next to the window and had a great view of the game.

Harbor Park, home of the Class AAA Norfolk Tides, celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2012. The Park is a fun place to watch a ballgame, with great seats and good concessions. Management also keeps fans entertained between innings with many funny promotions.

Nice place to take the family for a game and not spend a lot of money. Ticket price is great and they have fun activities between innings and the family has fun. We bring out of state family all the time and they enjoy it....More

Anything happening at Spruce Street Harbor Park in Oct.? (3 Replies)
Will be in Phila. Oct. 7th and 8th and have never been to the Spruce Street Harbor Park or Penn's Landing area of the city. I see by the website of the Harbor Park that they will not have the hammocks up by then, but I'm wondering if the area is worth going to in the evening and hanging out anyway if the weather is OK? Would going during the daytime be better this time of year?

You will need to check for events closer to date. At that point not much is running there as they are shutting down for the year. Not even sure if food will be open past 9/24 - if not, its still nice but not a huge reason to go there.

October 4 and 5 in the Bar Harbor/Acadia area. (I have lots of info on this area: NE Harbor, the Nat'l Park, Schoodic Point, etc.) October 6-back to Manchester for 5:30 p.m. flight. **What I need help with is the drive on October 3.** Basically,...More

If you don't mind a fairly early start to your day, the following might meet most of your criteria: Manchester, NH to Nubble Lighthouse, Cape Neddick, ME (have never heard of Portsmouth Lighthouse, so have substituted The Nubble in Cape Neddick, about ten miles north of Portsmouth).... Take NH 101 from Manchester east to Hampton; I-95 north to Maine Exit 7 to US 1; US 1 to Cape Neddick and the lighthouse. About 56 miles... Cape Neddick to Ogunquit: US 1 north from Cape Neddick for about...More

Is it safe to park for the weekend at Amtrak station? (2 Replies)
I'm traveling by train to NYC Friday am until Sunday pm. Is it safe to park my car in theAmtrak spaces in Harbor Park Lot D for that length of time? Also, will return late Sunday night (10pm) by bus from Newport News Amtrak station. Is it safe to arrive and pick up car at that time.

Having just spent 10 days in that area and reading the daily newspaper, I would say no. I have no other suggestions.
