The ticket agent searched and found the perfect spot for us. We had the best seats. The ordered the brisket sandwich which was delicious. They cut it the meat right in front of you, so you know it is fresh. We had a great view along the first base line. We had a great time and will return to cheer for the Norfolk Tides!Visited September 2021Written October 10, 2021
- Jill B4 contributionsMiLB park that should not be missed!Excellent for baseball fans, small park but good for a relatively cheap night of baseball. Any baseball fan will find this park a gem. I could easily see myself making this a regular night out if we lived in the area. $6 parking, $15 advanced tickets got us 4th row behind the plate, and food was typical for baseball games. Skip the tide dog (with crab)-was deemed “just ok” but try the elote (street corn)!Visited June 2022Written June 3, 2022
- Bucketlist28Reading, Pennsylvania182 contributionsGreat experience for out of townersDelayed due to rain and ushers were right there to dry off our seats. Super friendly staff. Prices reasonable for park food. Sangria slushies were amazing - esp given the heat! Kids were entertained and liked running the bases after the game. Team store line moved quickly but only let a few ppl inside at a time due to covid which we appreciated. Parking, easy in and out. Restrooms and stands very clean. Disappointed food stands were closing in 7th inningVisited July 2021Traveled with familyWritten July 14, 2021

Waited in a ridiculously long line to pay $6 to park, went to cash in voucher for season ticket and was told no tickets available and SRO?? Even though our company paid for seated tickets, the Tides organization decided to do things differently this month. And no mention of this change on their website. Will NOT attempt to go to another game--no wonder Hampton Roads has no major sports teams.

We attended a business event tonight and had a good time. The field is in great shape. The Tides were having a great night. The only negative for the night was the food at the picnic pavilion. Hamburgers and Hotdogs were cold not even luke warm. This should be an embarrassment for the park.Nice park decent crowd just step up the level of service to common prepared food standards.

Parking cost $6 when I visited. The stadium has 2 decks. The concourse is behind the first deck and most of it has a view of the playing field. There are many concession stands and a team store along the concourse. The seats are plastic theater style. The scoreboard is in left field and the video board is in right field. The staff was friendly and helpful. The sight lines are good and the public address system worked well. There is little weather protection, however.

When to Harbor Park for a Tides games. This is a nice little park. Parking was reasonable at $6. Tickets were a good price as well. Staff all seemed very friendly. They have many food and drink options. Prices were reasonable for a ball Park as well. I don’t think there is a bad seat in the house. Team shop was filled with lots of options. If you are in the area and have time to kill check of this ballpark.

We had tickets and were expecting a great night of Minor League Baseball with our small children. Then Severe Weather struck the area pinning us down at home until the weather would pass. In Norfolk - the weather cleared and the game started at 8pm - however the weather didn't clear in Virginia Beach until an hour later (9pm) - WAY too late to START bringing small kids to the ball park.
Our calls to the Ticket Manager to request an exemption to the rainout policy have not been returned.
Previous visits to Harbor Park have been a lot of fun - but I can no longer recommend this attraction if they won't return my calls and the operator will only site their rainout policy of "too bad so sad" when I'm forced to make a safety call involving children.

My boyfriend took me to my first baseball game which happened to be the last home game for the Tides. I had the best time!
We got our tickets online to avoid the lines, and parked a little far from the stadium to make a quick exit after the game.
The atmosphere was really exciting. I enjoyed the smell of all the stadium food as well as the humor of the mascots and characters.
The food and drinks are really expensive, but I guess that's expected. My jumbo dog was tasty and pretty darn big🌭
There was a firework display at the end of the game. And I was thinking what a great ending for my first game!
I'm going to make it an annual thing I had so much fun. You. An bring anyone along and they'd have a good time.

Whether you going by yourself of in a group, Harbor Park and the Norfolk Tides will guarantee you a fun and exciting time! I recommend going to an evening game rather than an afternoon game. The reason is if you go in the afternoon it can be really hot, so if you do choose to go to an afternoon game dress appropriate and bring lot of water. You can also buy food and drinks at the ballpark if you are not in the mood to bring things. Harbor Park and the Norfolk Tides are always going to bring you the excitement you want!

Thre is a lot to like about this park. Parking is faily easy...glad to see that they still have a ticket window where you can purchase the hard ticket instead of downloading it to your phone. Staff was friendly...Good view of the Eizabeth River if you are in the mid to upper levles. Scoreboard and dispalys are large by minor league standards. Ticket prices are reasonable-14-17 dollars on average as compared to the 24 I am noticing for my local Fluying Squirrels tickets (who came up with that price for the Diamond?) Overall a good value. Downsides...Food is at best Meh. I would suggest eating before you come to the park...Design of the park-this is an older park that became outdated by changes in staidum design after it was built. Still, this is my third or fourth time at the park and always seem to enjoy the stadium and the game.

Just go...great way to spend an evening or afternoon watching the Tides play. Regardless of the outcome you and your kids will have a wonderful experience. Major league fun for a minor league price. Saturday night they have fireworks after the game...nuff said.

I can't add anything brilliant, but here are my observations after 3-4 visits over the years.
1. If you are staying near the light rail, take that. It is inexpensive, fast, and it stops immediately in front of the ballpark.
2. The Park is very attractive with good seats all over. If you take a seat a touch higher than field level, you will have a good view of shipping on the Elizabeth River and of the trains going by.
3. The food is fairly varied, but you will pay a ballpark price. A tallboy Corona can was $10.00, and the IPA from a local brewery was even higher.
4. The baseball quality (AAA) is very good. I have seen several of the Tides' players with the major league club in Baltimore.
5. Like most minor league sites, this park features many activities for kids between innings, such as sack races, dizzy bat, etc.
6. You should expect to be warm. At about 9pm, the temperature was in the high 80's with near 100% humidity.
