While you could certainly get lost inside this enormous ship, you will find it fascinating, but perhaps a bit claustrophobic. There is lots to see and it will give you an appreciation for the lives of the men who spent up to 8 months on...More

We had an amazing day! We took our 11 year old son and spent from opening to closing on Sunday exploring the Nauticus museum and the U.S.S. Wisconsin. I am nearly speechless on how amazing our day was and we could have spent another full...More

If you in Norfolk, you need to stop and do this tour, great history. It is amazing the size of the ship, and the firepower this brings. It is impressive today, trying to imagine back in 1944 when commissioned, wow.

Must see this living history museum! This battleship participated in WW II, Korean and Desert Storm. Experience first hand the sacrifices our servicemen made...tour where they lived, ate and slept. Would definitely go back next year.

This is a must-do experience. I took the top decks tour. Bob and Tom, my guides, were knowledgeable and gave many interesting facts about the ship. The self-guided tour is also worth taking.

I would bring a jacket because you are on the waterfront and in Norfolk the joke is what 5 minutes and the weather will change. Also, you may want a scarf in case the wind is up. There really aren't any tight places that I... More
