I would definitely recommend taking a tour. Very reasonably priced. Air conditioned inside with a snack bar and restrooms. Best viewed up on top deck. Great narrative of the area and you get to see all the ships docked at the largest Naval base.

I took my family on the Carrie B this past weekend. It was a great trip! Captain Mark allowed us to go into the pilot-house where he was driving the boat. His narration was incredible! It seemed as if he knew everything about all the ships that we saw. A great trip for the entire family. I would recommend to everyone!

We went on a sunset cruise on the Carrie B in Norfolk, Virginia. It was really fun and the sunset was beautiful and it was so relaxing. The cruise lasted 2 1/2 hrs. not too long, just right. We saw Naval Ships, Submarines,huge Cargo ships, barges and many other neat things. It was educational for our son too. He definitely was not bored. We got coupons from our hotel for buy one get one free tickets, so this saved us some money. I highly recommend the Carrie B cruise. It was great!

We initially signed up for the cruise to "kill some time" but were all intrigued by the narration and history of the Captain. Also did not hurt they served beer and snacks!

Loved the Carrie B, but although it is still operating (a new boat, too), it is now charter.One must charter the entire boat and it looks fabulous on their website, but no longer can one just go down to the dock and get on for a tour of this very interesting Hampton Roads area. I definitely will consider using it for a charter if the need arises, but I am sorry to see that it's daily tours are over.

Relaxing, informative and fun filled 1 1/2 hour tour of Fort Lauderdale ‘s luxurious homes and waterways. Cash bar with snacks. Bring sunblock since you’re in the sun for almost 2 hours unless you choose to remain on the enclosed lower deck. Ample seating with awesome photo opportunities. Great ship crew. Even a jaded “local” can find something to enjoy on this entertaining harbor cruise.

What an excellent way to get a great view of the Atlantic fleet. We saw two aircraft carriers and any other ships. Great narration and a pleasant stop at the fort. Hearty recommendation.

My friends and I came to Ft. Lauderdale for a bit of relaxation. I am the planner of the group and we were going to do a one day tour to the Bahamas but decided to stay closer and spend the rest of the day at the casinos. I chose this company on line and got a break on the cost of the cruise for booking early. We started out in plenty of time when I realized my gps had me going a different way. So, they called us and graciously held the boat for us as long as they could which was great service. We sat on top pf the boat. The boat was very clean and the crew gave out great information about the houses. They made the scenery come alive with stories. I wished the cruise was longer! I would do it again.

Recently took tour and had a nice time.. Our five year old grandaughter went along, it was a challenge to keep her entertained.

We rented this boat for a party for people coming from out of town for our daughter's wedding. The boat ride was impressive and smooth. Dinner was served inside on the first deck. We used their recommended caterer and they did a great job. We hired a musician who sang and linked into the PA system. Bathroom facilities were clean. Views of the shipyard and Norfolk were impressive. This was a perfect start to wedding weekend.
