Nice, easy paced tour of the harbor and US Naval piers. The boat was comfortable, with plenty of shade, seating, and air-conditioned areas. Snack bar offers cold drinks and adult beverages, snacks and a few hot food items. Clean bathrooms aboard. Very knowledgeable captain! Fyi, US Navy ships movements is not public information, so nobody knows which ships you'll see... More

A must do in Norfolk. The narrated tour was very informative. Not only did we get a great view of the military ships but we heard of their uses and capabilities. You will be impressed and proud of our Navy after this tour.

We took this tour because one of our kids is very interested in military ships and aircraft. The tour takes about 2 hours. Only about 1 hour is spent floating past the outside of the naval base. The rest is spent on history of the Norfolk/ Portsmouth area and commercial shipping and such. Our kids (and the many others on... More

We knew we wanted to see the Navy ships while in Norfolk. I debated on doing the tour on Norfolk Naval Base or the Victory Rover. After consulting from friends and looking at the logistics I settled on the VR. The main reason was we were going to Nauticus/USS Wisconsin and it's located right next to them (saving driving time).... More

The tour was extremely informative, the boat was very clean and the crew cleaned everything up so quickly after the rain. We would definitely recommend this tour especially if you want to see and learn about Naval ships.

Liked the view of naval ships and the explanation of them. Sat below and was a little hard to hear narration over engine at times, but it didn't hinder our experience. Snack bar was a life saver. Recommend!

This was a fun adventure for our family. We enjoyed being on the water and seeing all the naval ships, port and beauty of Norfolk. The Tour is 90 minutes which we didn't think would be too long, but once you're out on the water and you've seen 30 ships...they all start to look the same. The boat is very... More

My teenager, 8 year old, and I spent a pleasant afternoon cruising the harbor. For the teenager, who is obsessed with navy ships, the highlight was the cruise by the navy yard and the captain's fantastic knowledge.

We booked the two hour 11:00 cruise. The first 90 minutes are a narrated tour of the Elizabeth River near Portsmouth and Norfolk, and eventually proceeding into the Naval Shipyards on Hampton Road. The guide was very knowledgable and was able to provide a lot of great information about the different ships and aircraft carriers. We were lucky that three... More
