Nauticus museum worth your time and money

Very well done museum. The rate for admission is a little steep, but ultimately worth the money. There are plenty of interesting exhibits and hands on features for kids of al ages.

Really enjoyed walking through time when we visited the Nauticus Museum. Very interesting to see all of the historical maritime information and take in the movie clips of yesteryear.

The guided tour of the USS Wisconsin (extra fee) was informative and worthwhile. The displays throughout the maritime center and museum were way above average. The food was amazingly good - I would go out of my way to eat there!! Great for families and all ages. The Nauticus Naval Base tour - wow!

The best place to visit! The tours on the ship are so interesting very awesome! The people that give the tours are so knowledgeable. It is so amazing to see how the sailors lived while serving on the ship. The museum is also very interesting.

Educational museum plus plenty for the kids to do. Movies to see regarding the planes and ships. There are also exhibitions of local marine fish, hermit and horseshoe crabs. Great for kids.

This is a great place for the whole family. There are exhibits where you can try out things, try on clothes, pet sharks, not to mention the battleship Wisconsin. It was a fun day.

Located along the waterfront in downtown Norfolk, the museum is somewhat difficult to get to and get from back onto the main interstate arteries coming into and out of the city. Parked at and with an entrance too through Nauticus is the restored battleship, Wisconsin. The museum is basically free while there is a charge to board and explore the... More

My wife and I arrived at about 10:30 am with our daughter and three grandchildren, ages 10 - 12. A greeter gave us some excellent advice on the many options while we were waiting to check in. We wanted to take advantage of the chance to visit the Battleship Wisconsin, which is included. There's a lot to see that's free,... More
