First, I have to be honest- I am a dyed in the wool battleship geek; I study them, read all I can about them, and visit the ones open as museums. I drove from Kentucky to Norfolk specifically to tour the USS Wisconsin. However, even the moderately disinterested among you should find a visit to Nauticus well worth the visit.... More

So much to see and do there. We arrived at 10 am and stayed till closing at 5 pm. They have special exhibits timed throughout the day; touching sharks, interactive weather presentation, historic newsreels about the USS Wisconsin, fire suppression demonstration and more. The guided, 1 1/2 hour tour of the USS Wisconsin was thorough and highly informative led by... More

While staying in Virginia Beach one day we had a great morning but it began to pour at lunch so we drove 30 minutes to "The Nauticus" as locals kept telling us. The staff was extremely nice and always on time. The prices were in line with other museum admissions in the MD/VA/DC region and there is plenty of bang... More

From outside view, it looks very interesting. Too bad that I didn't get a chance to visit inside; however, based on available brochure, it sounded like a great place for maritime enthusiasts to visit & learn.

We didn't get much time to explore as we showed up shortly before closing. But, what we saw was amazing. Totally packed full of history and cool exhibits.

Even though it does cover the US Navy history since the Revolution, it focuses more on WWII and the Wisconsin. It has a lot of interesting things to see and do, especially for the kids. We were lucky to have a very informative WWII display in the temporary exhibition area. I will comment on the Wisconsin itself in its own... More

Outstanding place to visit. Great people. Took great care of us. Had a place for our group to rest and have snacks after touring the ship. Look forward to return again in 2018.

The Nauticus museum is integrated with the battleship Wisconsin - you do both on the same ticket. It is a grand and well presented story of American sea power. All of the exhibits are precise and accurate and as attractive as war can be. The Wisconsin is impressive - watch your head if over 6 ft tall! There are three... More

Depending on if you take the time to read the majority of info on the exhibits, you could spend the whole day here. There are lots of interactive exhibits as well. This museum is connected to the U.S.S. Wisconsin which allows you to board and explore the ship. Reasonably priced for the amount that you get to see. We had... More
