Beautiful museum film of US Naval history and up to date information. Nice to compare how things used to be with the Navy of today. Also great Chesapeake Bay aquariums, live interactive horseshoe crab tank and shark tank! So much to see and do, I think you could spend more than a day doing all of the museum activities, touring... Lovely well kept museum and ship. Thank you Bob and Ed for a lovely tour of the upperdecks. Learned some new stuff, but even more thrilled to hear it from veterans who lived and worked on the ship. Museum itself is a little confusing with some oddly diverse topics included to keep the kids interested (fish, sharks, horseshoee crabs, bay... More

Honestly, larger than I expected. It was so interesting to see all the memorabilia and learn the history. Lots of interactive areas as well for any little ones that may be visiting. Between the USS Wisconsin tour and this museum, I got lost in the history and spent a lot more time than I anticipated (in a good way).

First, I have to be honest- I am a dyed in the wool battleship geek; I study them, read all I can about them, and visit the ones open as museums. I drove from Kentucky to Norfolk specifically to tour the USS Wisconsin. However, even the moderately disinterested among you should find a visit to Nauticus well worth the visit.... More

So much to see and do there. We arrived at 10 am and stayed till closing at 5 pm. They have special exhibits timed throughout the day; touching sharks, interactive weather presentation, historic newsreels about the USS Wisconsin, fire suppression demonstration and more. The guided, 1 1/2 hour tour of the USS Wisconsin was thorough and highly informative led by... More

While staying in Virginia Beach one day we had a great morning but it began to pour at lunch so we drove 30 minutes to "The Nauticus" as locals kept telling us. The staff was extremely nice and always on time. The prices were in line with other museum admissions in the MD/VA/DC region and there is plenty of bang... More

From outside view, it looks very interesting. Too bad that I didn't get a chance to visit inside; however, based on available brochure, it sounded like a great place for maritime enthusiasts to visit & learn.
