We read about the Gypsy Markets on things to do in Quarteira and decided to go on Wednesday. Its only open on Wednesdays, 8am-2pm. There was parking available next door. Once inside the markets we were a little underwhelmed, loads of traders selling the same...More

This market was ok but much the same as all the other markets in Portugal. (We went to others and the same traders were there!) Prices not too bad, but not at all sure if the quality is there??

Very busy little market every Wednesday, with lots of stalls with all kinds of wares. Great churros and pretty nice coffee too. Just be careful with so many people around its crucial to watch your pockets but otherwise an enjoyable way to spend your morning

The market which is actually at Fonte Santa is everything you would expect of a gypsy market, shoes, leather goods, clothing, bags, linen, hats etc. They are all the same and this one is no exception.

Great morning visit. Most stall holders are very pushy but stay calm and walk away if not interested. If you want to buy something do a bit of haggling, they love it.
