It's a typical place in Quarteira, where the most population goes to buy fresh fish. At High Season, the prices goes higher but still remains a good fish.

Great place to find fresh food. Fish is a bit expensive, but fruits have reasonible price and variety is very good. Mangis ready to be eaten, papaijas and stuff you cannot find from the local stores.

The market itself seems to be open every day but weekdays are the best bet. There's also a restaurant in the middle of the place which is likely what SusieB53 is referring to but I'm not sure.

The fish market seems to open at 830 and close around 1430 but it's an inexact time
