A typical Italian square at the entrance of Lido de Jesolo. Some nice water fountains and large, modern buildings as well as bars, cafes and shops nearby.

on my point of view, Jesolo Lido should be rethought as too many old structures, activities and new placed ideas they don't match with the upcoming tourist need..however it may be good for whom has lack of view for a better Lido

This is a modern piazza close to the bus station, and overlooked by some of the tallest buildings in Jesolo, (Le Torri di Piazza Drago). Slate grey stone features heavily, built with children in mind as water jets rise haphazardly out of the pavement. In the top eastern corner is a monument with two figures, old and modern to the Carabinieri (military police). The former looking slightly sinister in tricorn hat and clock, whilst the latter is heavily symbolic, a dying policemen complete with automatic weapons. I wish i could have translated the dediciation. This is an interesting piece of modern civic sculpture and street furniture.
